  • Vampire MC

This is the first book in a new series. Vampires are the focus of this new MC story but the MC part is in the background. Bane is a three hundred year old vampire who hasn’t met his match until now. He gave her his best lustful villain smile. “Well, fair maiden. You’re asking a lot of questions. You know what the cost is for each one.” Dr Ryan St Cloud is feisty, sassy and not afraid of anything even Vampires. “This isn’t good,” Luke snapped, glaring at Ryan. “Thank you, Captain Understatement,” Ryan snapped right back at him. “Maybe you could just pee on my shoe next time,” she said sweetly, moving out from beneath his arm. “I’m sure that would mark your territory.” Evil Warlocks, werewolves, vampires and more inhabit and want to run Savannah. A supernatural war is brewing. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was that 70 % of the book the characters were angry at everyone. Not sure that was called for.

  • Can a heartless Vampire find love ?

Three and a half I have been thoroughly entertained by this authors Warriors of Poseidon series so was very excited to read this book. The idea of a motorcycle club in romance isn't unique but making that club a mixture of both Vampires and Humans was to me very different. Yes its a paranormal romance but there's also the fact that women are being murdered and it looks as if Bane himself is the reason for it ! Look I'm going to be brutal and say I really didn't like Bane. From the start he's this heartless guy who doesn't care if those following him die. I personally wouldn't feel any loyalty towards someone like that so really didn't understand why others followed him. Yes meeting Ryan does eventually soften him slightly but honestly my initial impression of Bane soured him for me. Ryan is this take charge doctor who doesn't know how to back down and I do get that having the power of quite literally life or death can make many a little arrogant. She's determined to save her patient but she's stepped or rather been pulled into a world from her wildest nightmares. There is something definitely different about Ryan that's mentioned a few times in the beginning and then ignored almost until the end of the story which felt a little uneven to me as I wish it had been commented on a little more. This couple are quite funny though and their interactions frequently made me smile. Bane just keeps pushing and their mutual attraction is palpable. A jealous Vampire is a very possessive one ! As it's the first in this new series we meet supporting characters who clearly have secrets to tell and I look forward to reading how everything develops as the series progresses. This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

  • Holy Wow, so good!

Holy wow! This was so good! When they said Vampire MC I was in, and maybe a little skeptical. But the book drops you right into the world of Bane the conflict of his world. It's easy to understand. The vampires he surrounds himself with are likable. And every time Bane and Ryan are near each other the tension is unmistakable. So steamy! Bane is a 300-year-old vampire who is the leader of the Vampire Motorcycle Club. He fights to protect his territory and family from other supernaturals and a group known as the Chambers. A group he defeated once before. Dr. Ryan St.Cloud finds out about vampires when a patient is stolen from the hospital and she begins to question her sanity searching for proof of her patient. When Bane shows up to check on her she believes he is a hallucination and before she knows it she's back at this compound learning vampires are real. Looking forward to the next book in this series! Thanks to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for this ARC.

  • Steamy vampire romance

Being honest when I started reading this I thought to myself, oh boy all the old stereotypes vampire book, then a couple of chapters in it became it's own story. It starts off with a bang and has lots of action and steam between Bane a 300 year old vampire, and Ryan a woman ER doctor. It's a pretty quick love story which is actually well done, everyone has special abilities that we discover as the book flows. There are good guys and villains, various paranormal species introduced in this first of a series story. My hope is Ms Day will explore the past of the characters somehow in future stories, why did Bane come to America, Ryan's past with her father, why is Hunter special to Bane, will we learn more about the MC, just a few of my questions. Enjoyable book, great at explaining why people need free choice, good supportive characters. Thanks to Netgalley and publishers for a chance to give an honest opinion

  • New paranormal series

This is book one of a new series, the story is about Bane and Doctor Ryan. This story is an MC trope mixed with paranormal, making this story quite interesting. There is a lot going on in the story, especially because it starts in the middle of it and then you get the hang of what is going on and their background. I did have some questions that still need to be answered somehow in the following books. Ryan was a character I liked and truly want to see what will happen with it all, the worldbuilding is still a bit undeveloped for my taste, and I would've liked a bit more between Bane and Ryan before they get involved as I thought it was a bit rushed, overall I think it's an interesting start to a new series.
