  • Redemption Success!

Ok. So I didn't care for Tamara in Brazen. However, I think Flynn did a good job of explaining her reasoning no for her actions and redeeming her character in Bang. She grew on me so much that I actually enjoyed her story a little bit more than Taz and Bianca's story. Oh. And Isaac was a pretty great Hero too. I do wish we could have had a little more on his backstory. Like his interactions with his sisters and mom. Since they had such an impact on his life, I would have enjoyed a little more interaction with them. Especially after that epilogue. Perhaps a wedding or baby novella somewhere in the future??? Hmmm???? A quick, enjoyable weekend read. Can be read as a standalone, but you won't get the full Tamara or B-Squad experience without starting at the beginning. I think Flynn is getting better with this series and I look forward to more B-Squad stories.

  • Fire and Ice

Tamara wow what can you say she starts off as a real B**&@ in Brazen BUT you get to understand better WHY in Bang . She will do whatever it takes to save her niece . Then comes Isaac and he thinks he can not be a team player because of his past. Together they realize they are a true part of a team as the B squad do all they can do the help these 2 save a girl only Tamara knows, They is hot there is intrigue there is loyalty . Avery does a good job mixing it all together in one place, Come join the fun of the B Squad . They can be read as stand alone stories if you wish but you will enjoy more if read them all .

  • Bang

4.5 Stars What a great story!!! Tamara Post’s first meeting with Bianca and the B-Squad didn’t go down so well, now things are changing but is Tamara ready to let go of her secrets or will it cost her the very reason for having them. Isaac Camacho is a man who get the job done but when he meets Tamara that will become a little more complicated. Can Isaac convince Tamara to let him in and if she does will he be able to do what is necessary to protect her, even if it may cost him having Tamara in the end!!

  • Passion, action, suspense and great characters

Tamara Post may be an opportunist and just about every name she's been called, but one thing that's not in doubt is that she loves her niece and would do anything to keep her safe. And even though she's fiercely independent and determined to do things her own way, she knows that's she out of her depth and needs to accept the help of the B-Squad to keep her niece safe from her father. Isaac Camacho is a lone ranger by choice but his hero complex means that he won't let Tamara fight by herself to protect her niece. Well, that and the fact that her hot body and her ice-cold attitude keep him hot and bothered. One might consider him a glutton for punishment especially because of Tamara's reputation but on closer look, she uses her reputation and frosty attitude to keep people away. This was a very exciting read for me and I haven't read any of the preceding books in the series, but it's pretty clear that Tamara is the girl to hate based on her conduct in the previous book. What I love about her is her independence and her take-no-prisoners attitude. She knows that she hasn't lived a stellar life and she owns it. Isaac on the other hand hides his hunger to belong behind a nonchalance that anyone can see through but he's the guy you want having your back when things go sideways because he won't quit on you. Overall this was a really engaging and enjoyable read because it had passion, action, suspense and great characters. The camaraderie among the team and the way they enfolded both Tamara and Isaac into the team and supported them was something I really enjoyed and I look forward to more of the series. • Bang: Avery is back

I wasn't exactly Team Tamara when I picked up this book, but Avery knows how to write a character into your list of "want them as friends". The story is fast paced, sexy and funny. The characters are well writen and you want to read more about them. What I most liked about this book is the mix of action, fun and hot and sexy scenes. The next B-Squad book is already on my to read list.
