    Sweet Christian romance

This was a sweet, well-written book. Lilly is 8 months pregnant and alone except for her faithful donkey Samantha. Samantha keeps returning to the ranch where she used to live, and Lilly has to go looking for her at new neighbor Cort's property. Cort meets Lilly and Samantha, and soon finds himself changing his loner ways. I enjoyed this upbeat, Christian romance. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is the second in a series with related characters. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

A wonderful message of faith and trust in God

Book 2 begins a few months after the close of book 1, but you don't have to read book 1 in order to understand or follow the story. Granted, it does help with the back story, but it's not necessary. Lilly Tipps was abandoned when she discovered she was pregnant. Now, eight months later, she's on a rescue mission for her donkey, Samantha. What she does not anticipate is getting lassoed by her handsome new neighbor. Cort Wells is horrified when he realized he just roped his very pregnant neighbor and equally shocked when he discovers that the one doing all the damage in his barn is her donkey. What follows is a sweet story of two hearts who have been badly hurt. As one reaches out in healing towards the other, will they be able to connect? Or will one of them feel too damaged to respond? I enjoyed the humor and most especially the message of faith and trust in God - that waiting on God pays off. Romance - PG - some kisses Language - clean My rating - 5 stars.

    Sweet, lovely and very funny

I don't think that I've laughed so much reading a book. It's a lovely sweet story, and Samantha and Loser knew exactly what they wanted to happen and and they got it, I'm still laughing at their antics. Thank you Debra for this wonderful book, I'm now going to look for some more.
