    Pretty good

I ran across” Ms. Abbie’s Callaghan series a few years back. This series is an off-shoot if the Callaghan books. (Which in my opinion is one of her best series.) Book one of the Sanctuary series was a page burner, with a bit of intrigue. This book, while far from boring; didn’t quite hold up to the same expectation. But, taken on its own is still quite excellent. It got a little slow in parts, but still held my interest. I have an idea Ms. Abbie may be building up to something with a few aspects of the story (not giving it away..) I truly loved the autistic brother to the lead female character. Having a highly functioning autistic nephew, that I raised for a number of years and dearly love; I did enjoy how Ms. Abbie showed him opening up because of the horses. Horses and dogs the greatest creatures on earth for all of us! The romance part was mild, but believable. I think it’s worth your time and money.

    Great story!

Abbie has a way of making you feel what her characters are feeling. Once I started reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. Loved seeing “old” characters blend into this series as well. Looking forward to more of this series.

    Awesome book

Having read the first book in this series I knew Heff’s book would be good. The sparks flew between him and Sandy from their first meeting. Nothing is as it seems with this group of guys. Ms Zanders throws quite a few curveballs each time you think you know whats coming! This was a great read and I loved not only watching their story unfold but catching up with old favourites the Callaghan’s and Tori and Brian. This had everything, intrigue love and of course tho sexy Alphas. Great book I can’t wait to see who’s next!

    Enjoyed this one!

BEST LAID PLANS by Abbie Zanders. BEST LAID PLANS tells the tale of Heff and Sandy. Heff, a former SEAL, has been around the world and seen and done more than the average townfolk. He's uber sexy with a heart of gold. Sandy has had it rough - life just seems to keep throwing her curveballs. My heart did hurt for her, when once again, her dreams are put on hold. However, I liked her more and more as the story progressed and her character grew emotionally for me. Together, they are off the charts HOT and seem to balance each other perfectly. More than once, Ms. Zanders had my heart fluttering, be it from a sexy scene to a heartbreaking one, I was truly engaged in this tale. This was certainly a love story, without as much danger and mystery as some of her other stories, but still held my interest throughout. It was wonderful to see some characters pop in from other works by this author, although it is not necessary to read those stories to enjoy this one. I do recommend them, though, as they are a treat as well. (received ARC for honest review)
