    A thoroughly enjoyable read

This book drew me in right from the start. I loved Julia, it's nice to have a strong female character but who has the same vulnerabilities as a lot of other females (awareness of curves, self-doubt etc). Russ is a tortured soul. This is the story of them trying to find love, overcome obstacles and other issues. I really enjoyed their story, but want to know Tony's story as well as Ann's, and Matt's too! I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.

A love story with some help from a ghost

A romance with a heavy dose of mourning, I found this book to be very sad. Julia was at a crossroads in her life when she first met Russel. Even though she knew that she couldn't get involved with him, she nevertheless experienced a lifelong attraction to him. In the opening chapter of this book, Julia puts her stamp on the book as a no-nonsense girl who is unwilling to accept any person's disrespect in a highly amusing manner, even if it was unconventional. However, from that moment on, the life and friendships she knew were obliterated and Julia moved on to take her place in the dance world. Some years later she came full circle, back to where she needed to be to mend fences with her past. I loved Julia and even the reformed Tony. The touch of supernatural influence helped the story along but Julia's strongest supporter is Matt who had the unerring ability to steer her back on course. There were times when I really got annoyed with Russel, but could understand where he was coming from, even if he was very melodramatic. The romantic connection between Julia and Russel was dynamic, despite Russel's erratic behaviour at times. Nevertheless this is a good romance with a delightful ending. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
