  • An Incredible Read That You Shouldn't Miss

First of all, it is rare that I get to enjoy reading a book that doesn't contain grammatical or proofreadiing errors. So thanks to Ms Roe for a bump free read. Secondly, Beyond The Tower was an excellent read! It was original, thoughtful, and so much more than just a fairy tale. I am now ordering the next book in the series. It is such a delightful read that I felt bereft when I closed the book after the last page. I heartily recommend this book and also Ms. Roe's writing ability. As a writer myself, I bow to her skill.

  • Meh. Unsatisfactory

This book has no plot? The main character is only involved in events three times, and the first time is related to the reader directly by the main character as what has happened in the past. This book is incredibly hard to engage with, it is difficult to connect with the characters because nothing seems to happen to her and when things do happen to her it is not explained how it why they are. This book is really unsatisfying to read.

  • Rapunzel's journey after the "fairy tale"...

The rest of Rapunzel's story with a Christian element. We find Rapunzel after she has been thrown from the only prison she's ever known. Her beloved hair is hacked off in the same hateful manner that her beloved field of flowers was butchered to spite her. With only a broken heart and no choice, she gets up and sets out to find her way in an unsure and unfamiliar world A family appropriate look at the internal struggle of being alone, lonely, cast out, and searching for meaning and identity. The author incorporates Rapunzel seeking for answers with seeking our own answers from God. This book challenges us to examine our own journeys. Do we know who we are? Where we belong? Can we overcome grief, pain, and darkness?... And was Rapunzel alone all along?...
