    Bucket list

I really enjoyed this series. The tropes behind it - father's destiny and an old family feud - compel each son to find his own partner. Each story is unique in the way each couple meets and finds its HEA. It's also a pleasure to read stories about billionaires who aren't arrogant and full of themselves. Each of the Belmont brothers and half-brothers gives back to the community in meaningful, practical and hands-on ways. It's no wonder their partners are attracted to them.

    Billionaires of Belmont

Thoroughly enjoyed each book, particularly mention of Toronto and Jamaica. Although there was some similarity in each novel, all were wonderfully crafted. Thank you

    Poorly written.

Sadly, while the plot could have worked, the first book is seriously undermined by poor writing and editing. Dialogue is either weirdly gushy or so on the nose that it appears unnatural. Character development is sacrificed to get to the romance (Mr. won't trust women ever again immediately trusting the perfect woman and woman going through the worst 48 hours of her life forgets whats happening to her so that she can wax poetical about the hunk in front of her), and there is an excessive use of telling rather than showing. The first two chapters info-dump the entire backstory of the character in a chaotic summary, and the reader is spoon-fed information repeatedly just in case you didn't get the connection between the currnet events to the character's backstory. In all honesty, the first book was one of the worst books that I have ever tried to read. It is possible the later books in the series got better, but I can't recommend.
