Once again, Sawyer delivers a story that is so muc

Bishop and Brooke are to die for! I cannot get enough of them and the team! Sawyer always does hockey right! I loved how this book is starting the new series off! There is the romance and the heat! My god, the heat! There is enough to melt the ice in the arena! There was drama in the best of ways. Also getting a glimpse into the other players and what we can look forward to in the next books!!! Brooke is starting out in her new career in Arizona and decides to go out and meet a new co-worker and is stood-up. Bishop comes to the rescue when a guy gets a little too forward at the bar and they hit it off. And by hit it off, I mean burn up the pages with a steamy one night stand. Bishop is getting ready to start the new season with the new franchise team, the Arizona Vengeance, and it hoping to make a great impact and play some killer hockey. He has high hopes for his new team and wants nothing more than to go after the cup! The last thing either of them expected was to walk into work the next day and see each other again - Bishop as the player and Brooke as the "boss". Her father, the teams coach, walks in and finds them in a intimate embrace and Brooke flubs that they are dating... no, not just dating... but ENGAGED! Bishop decides to go along with it and they create this story of how they met and their fairy tale romance... much to others chagrin.

Great start for this new spinoff series!!!

Bishop is the first book in the Arizona Vengeance hockey series, and was a great start to this new series. When the new team was created all the hockey teams had players pulled for this new team. Now Bishop is in a new place and things are looking good for him. Even better when he meets a beautiful woman at a bar and she wants to go home with him. But what he wasn't counting on was seeing that same beautiful woman at work, which gets even worse when her dad walks in on them. I enjoyed Bishop's character even though he's a manwhore. I enjoyed the chemistry between Brooke and Bishop, and thought they were a fun couple. Brooke is not a pushover, and is a strong female which I really liked, as well as her bluntness. The story flowed well, and I really enjoyed it up until the end. The end is why I only rated it at 4 stars. The end just stops, the book was building up and up and then bam... it ends. Which really disappointed me. I wish an epilogue or something more would have been done. It made the book feel unfinished which bugged me since I was absolutely loving the book. Hope this helps! Happy Reading!!

    Awesome

The Cold Fury series may be over but the Arizona Vengeance will fill the void quite nicely and Bishop is an amazing way to kick off this new series. Bishop is seriously hot and one night with him is too hard for Brooke to pass up. Never expecting to see him again she's shocked when he walks at the Vengeance Arena. Of course it's just her luck that he turns out to be one of the players. When her father, who happens to be the head coach of the Vengeance, catches them in a serious lip lock Brooke blurts out the first thing that comes to mind! Now things really get fun. As always with Sawyer Bennett books the writing is exceptional with a nice fluid pace to the story and the characters will grab your attention right from the start. I can't wait for the next book and I think this one needs to be on everyone's must read list. I highly recommend it.

    Loved it!

I'm so excited that we have a new hockey series to look forward to from Sawyer Bennett. I adored Bishop. Maybe not at first, but the more time he spent with Brooke the more I loved how he treated her. For having a fake relationship, he was a great boyfriend to her. So many times you see sports players equals tons of other women drama. While we do have that, I didn't mind it at all. In fact, I'm glad it was there because Bishops reactions to it was exactly what I want to see happen when faced with a woman trying to interfere. It's one of the biggest reasons I loved Bishop. Brooke was a very sweet and mature heroine despite her silly reaction to her father catching her with Bishop. There were a few times she could have reacted badly and instead was calm and mature. This ended up being a fun read. I am a little worried about Erik's story next. He came off as a major player in this book. It will be interesting to see where the author takes his story.

    Feel Good Hockey Romance

I love everything Sawyer Bennett writes, especially her books about sexy hockey players. So naturally, I was excited to learn she is starting the new Arizona Vengeance hockey series. The Arizona Vengeance are a new hockey franchise and the owner has been able to hire some of the best players from all the teams around the country. This first story in the series is about Bishop, one of the players traded to the Arizona Vengeance. Bishop is still adjusting to his trade when, just before training camp starts, he meets Brooke at a bar and they have a one-night stand. Afterwards, Bishop discovers Brooke is his new coach’s daughter and she also works for the Arizona Vengeance. Bishop is surprised and nervous by this turn of events. When Bishop's new coach finds him kissing Brooke, they decide to pretend they are in a relationship. Bishop and Brooke try to keep their distance from each other, but circumstances keep bringing them together. As they spend more time together, they discover they have a lot in common, enjoy each other’s company and share a lot of chemistry. I liked both Bishop and Brooke and thought they complement each other. Bishop is a great guy; he is caring and protective of Brooke and he also has a good relationship with his teammates. Brooke is sweet, has a big heart and she can’t help herself from falling for Bishop. This is a feel good, fun story with great writing and dialogue. The characters are easy to connect with and there are lots of entertaining secondary characters. I can’t wait I read more books in this series.
