    Wonderful stories

I gave each of these stories 5 stars when I did the individual books. My reviews are posted on Kobo for your perusal. The stories are well written, well edited, with developed characters that have continued to grow throughout the series. Each may be read as a standalone, but characters reappear in other books. I love that these stories are driven by character and plot, not by one sex scene after another. Highly recommend. The author gifted me with these books in exchange for honest review.

    Great read, times three

The first book in this series I read was "Falling for Emma". I liked it so much that I had to get more and I went for the box set which is a great buy. All three of the books in this set have a typical Parisian bistro as their focal point. All of the well developed and lovable characters are somehow connected to this place, either they are customers or work there. The characters appear in different constellations in the books, involved in new plots and twists. All of the characters are memorable and definitely not stereotypical and inevitably you will root for at least one of them in each book. And if you meet some of them in another book again, it’s a happy welcome back. Despite the connection through the characters you can read the books independently and in any order. I can literally see the author spending hours and hours sitting in that bistro, watching with sympathetic and friendly eyes, observing and recording whatever is going on. The result are three charming love stories, sometimes complicated, sometimes bittersweet, but never boring. Since you will always be curious of what will happen next, you can call these books also page turners. At the same time, the fluid, unobtrusive and precise writing style of the author makes these novellas a very enjoyable read. It's hard to say which one is my personal favorite, but if pressed I would say it's "What if it's love?". But you will definitely find your own favorite among three almost equally great books. Enjoy the adventure.

    Awesome Collection of Stories

'I enjoyed reading these three stories as a series. This is a great deal getting all three books. Each one is a love story and can be read alone, but you do get to meet some of the same characters in the three books. The first book in the set follows a romance from initial meeting, to betrayal, to feigned indifference and ends - well I won't spoil that ending. The third book gives insight into owning a café bistro with some very interesting side stories. The second book in the set is actually my favorite and I've read it several times. This whole set is a rollercoaster of emotions I can ride over and over and never tire of. Of the three couples Rob & Lene, Matt and Jeanne and Emma and Cyril, my favorite was Emma and Cyril, their's was the biggest hurdle to overcome, the deceit and lies, coupled with the difference. You will also find some suspense and some frustration with the characters who just don't "get" it. I truly finished the series and then wished for more books. I’m strongly recommending this book. Great edition.
