Could have been so much better

This book had a Heathcliff and Catherine type main characters that could have made this story dynamite. Instead, the writing was rather tepid and the romance and love scenes lacking in angst. Then there was that very abrupt ending. Could have been so much better.

    Great Book!!!

Black Sheep by Tabatha Vargo....OMG, I just read one of my favorite books so far in 2016. I absolutely loved seeing the story unfold between Tyson and Nicole. The story hit all my emotion button and kept me glued to the pages. This is the first book I have read by Tabatha and it will not be my last. I was given a complimentary book for an honest review.

    wrong priorities

The ingredients were good, but what was done with it could have been better. However it is not soooo expensive so it would still have got 4 stars by me beside something, which really annoys me. Other might not mind, so I just tell and you can decide if it bothers you. In my opinion this is propagating the purity cult. When the heroine is having sex the first time all they talk very very shortly about if she is sure, she wants. And that's it. Not a single mention of contraception. The guy she is having sex with was more or less a man whore and at least in another scene he also doesn't care about protection. So beside getting her pregnant he could be the walking STD by now. The whole book emphasises on him protecting her from everything evil and then this? So for him it was important that she was pure until he got her. He doesn't care about giving here diseases or getting her pregnant at a time, when she already has money troubles. This is a message in a book I clearly don't like and there fore only 3 stars for being basically ok.
