Cute and light romance full of laughs

That was super cute! I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. The sweet little story with not much in terms of conflict just minor hiccups, nothing really earth shattering or defining. But what the story did have was a lot of laughs. This was by far one of the cutest and funniest books I've read in a while. The interactions between each character were very realistic. The chemistry between Haley and Blake was a great. They're teasing and their banter, even their pestering was cute and flirty and really funny. But by far I think I enjoyed Jane's character the most. She was a great best friend and honest - maybe to honest. It was really great to see her get her happily ever after. One of the best things about this story, was how the girls were portrayed. They aren't weak, they aren't fake and they most definitely aren't stupid. Sure they have your typical moments of weakness but all in all they're pretty strong and fierce female characters. I love their ability to snark back to any character that tries to bring them down. If you're looking for a cute, fun read with strong girls and an adorable romance then this is the book for you. The characters will worm their way into your heart, make you laugh and genuinely hope for the best for them. The characters are well developed and their chemistry believable. This is definitely a light romance, in the sense that there isn't any huge drama aside from a crazy ex-girlfriend, a domineering father and a healthy dose of wacky and opinionated family members and animals. “I received a free ARC copy of the book from the author/publisher via NetGalley for my honest opinion. I was in no way compensated for this review and all opinions are expressly my own”

    Blackmail Boyfriend

It's hard enough getting a boy/girlfriend in high school. Add intimidating brothers and a have to be prefect controlling father your chances of happiness are extra low.

    Darling Story

This story was a clean cut cute story! The author did a good job of keeping things light. I laughed multiple times while reading and really enjoyed the characters.

    Blackmail Boyfriend

I loved everything about this book. This book can relate to real life, one has money no doesn't, social groups think they shouldn't be together, but the heart wants what the heart wants and that it.

    Funny and full of heart

While the rich guy - regular girl trope isn't my favourite, it's impossible to not be swept up in Haley and Bryce's story. Their back and forth banter / frenemies to lovers vibe with a side of a faux relationship just works. I LOLd many times whilr reading this book, and I particularly likd the fact that Haley called him out for being a nerk when he crossed the line. There were a few offensive termshat I noticed, like Eskimo instead of Inuit, which took me out o the story. At the same time, I liked the way that the author dealt with sexism and classism from both sides of the class divid.
