Austen fans will totally get this

Pride and Prejudice, my favorite book of all time and one of the most beloved books in English literature, just got a hilarious makeover. I'm a hardcore Austen fan who has probably seen the 1995 P&P adaptation about fifty times. But it is clear that Dr. Josten's passion for the work far exceeds mine. His annotated version of Pride and Prejudice shows how extreme, and how funny, some obsessive Janites can be. Ever since Colin Firth emerged from that fateful lake in his white linen shirt, the Austen world has never been the same. Blaine Josten is this fandom personified: a hopeless romantic and devourer of fanfic who nevertheless protests his deeply academic interest in the subject. A clever parody of the world of Jane Austen fandom, Blaine Josten's Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice will make true Janeites laugh out loud.
