  • Great read

I really loved this book.Blaze is an ex army seal, discharged on medical grounds due to severe injuries after an encounter with an IED. His father runs a successful animal sanctuary and Blaze is given the task of finding Solo, an ex military dog that has gone feral . Camilla is an events planner who Blaze comes across at the side of the road, she has a bent wheel after swerving to miss a dog who Blaze thinks may be Solo, the dog that he is trying to find. I loved the gentle romance that grew between these two, she was slightly dippy and made him laugh, which he hadn't done much of in a long time, however someone was trying very hard to keep them apart and Blaze was determined to find out who, I loved the empathy and the gentle way that Blaze earned the trust of Solo. This book is one of a series of books involving dogs, it is the first one that I have read but it wont be the last. This is a standalone story with a HEA I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Tied up with a bow too quickly!

This is book 4 in the K-9 Files series and it features Blaze and Camilla. This series is about veterans finding lost military working dogs and through that, finding love. This story was more about Blaze and Camilla than Solo, the MWD. The story line was good but it needed to be longer so a deeper search into the trouble surrounding Camilla could be made. The story line was good but unlike the stories before this one, this search was almost an afterthought. As usual, the characters were awesome! I can’t wait for the next book in this fantastic series!

  • No Place Like Home

Blaze went back to his home town on a mission or two. One, to find Solo, a shepherd from the military K-9 division and one to determine his next path after his discharge from the military. Almost as soon as he makes it to town, he offers to help Camilla after she had a flat tire and gets his first clue in searching for Solo. Blaze decided that he liked Camilla’s honesty and wanted to get to know her better. As they start spending time together, there are broken windows at a venue where Camilla has an event scheduled and later at her home. Then she receives strange emails and text messages. Can Blaze and Camilla determine who and why someone is trying to keep them apart and still find Solo to keep her out of harm’s way?

  • Blaze

Loved this story of love and compassion. The animals are an attractive added aspect to the story. To see them rescued and than treated so well. To get them back on their feet literally is so rewarding. Just great.
