  • Chilling

I have been very impressed with the writing of this author as far as making the characters real to the reader and, most important of all, bringing out real emotions so that reading the story has a greater impact. When she intends something to be frightening, it is! And this particular book brings in a supernatural aspect that bumps the tension up a notch. Jorie Wainright and Logan Mathis, grew up as two of the Rugby Six, which was a group of children so close to each other psychically that they experience each other’s emotional and physical pain. They also have the power to affect others. Jorie and Logan are in love, and she is pregnant. Jorie returns to her hometown when her father dies. She somehow connects to some unearthly spirit presence while dealing with the threat to herself and her unborn child. Logan can feel her pain...and her need. Will the others come and help Logan protect his family?

  • Great Book

This is the 3rd book I've read written by Nancy Sartor; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
