  • 4 Star Blue Blood

Kristin is happier than she’s been in a long time and her new status in life has her solving crimes faster and better than she ever could before. Although, her life with Alex is having a bit of trouble due to her reluctance to complete the transition. Then her two worlds collide when Alex goes missing and she’s having to deal with the emotions that are threatening to overwhelm her. Her house is filling up with people who want to help her, a strawberry blond woman appears at all the wrong times and Trent and Gabe have entered the picture to help with the search. Kirsten’s life has become even more complicated with some stunning twists and turns that readers certainly don’t see coming. Secrets are revealed, bad guys seem to be abundant and while Alex missing, the other guys in her life seem determine to help her in a way that will either prove to be a great thing or prove to destroy her life with Alex. Emotions run high and are quite turbulent throughout this story and readers can’t help be become caught up in all the turmoil. This series definitely has to read in sequence to get the full understanding of what’s happening and to get the most enjoyment, but one thing is for certain, this fast paced plot never has a dull moment as the passions and chemistry explode and the danger escalates throughout this exhilarating and life altering story.

  • Great paranormal story

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW...I have become an audiobook lover. While I love turning the pages of a good book, listening to a good book is sometimes better. I love that with a good narrator you can hear the emotions of the book, you can feel things that you may miss when reading the book yourself, and that I can multi-task while listening to an audiobook. Stacy Eaton chose Alex Black as her narrator for My Blood Runs Blue and he was wonderful. He was able to take Stacy’s story and bring it to life. I could feel the emotions, the fear of the unknown, and the love between the characters. I listened while doing my daily walks and found that time passed quickly while I lost myself in Alex’s voice as he told me a story. The story itself was fun. I had not lost myself in a paranormal book in a while and was excited to start My Blood Runs Blue. The storyline has some great twists and turns while keeping it real enough that I felt like the story could be happening. Kristin learns about her history, a life she did not remember anything of, and finds herself in a love triangle. It was sweet and loving bringing people who meant a lot to her back into her life at a time when she felt very much alone. The steamy attraction had me sneaking in extra time to listen while the emotions kept me invested in Kristin being happy.

  • More Blue Blood For Life Greatness! Outstanding🎧📚🎧

Blue Blood for Life My Blood Runs Blue, Book 3 By: Stacy Eaton Narrated by: Alex Black Stacy Eaton delivers another fantastic book in her awesome “My Blood Runs Blue” series. I am loving this series, the characters are amazing, an imaginative yet realistic paranormal beings whom live amongst us mere mortals. Kristin is as awesome as ever in this book, she is with her mate, Alex, and is one step away from becoming a full-fledged Vampire. She already gained a lot of the strengths a vampire has, she is stronger, faster and her senses are sharper which has been helping in her crime fighting job. Alex wants her move to NY and work with the VMF, but Kristin is not ready to leave her job and department, she wants to stay as long as possible. Alex is investigating a case of another rouge vampire, Burke, he must be getting close, not only was he threaten but threats were made against Kristen too. He never got a chance to tell her, he was abducted on his way to see her. He also summoned Julian to return back to base, upon arrival he found Alex missing, but found the letters he left, one for him the other for Kristin. Alex left him strict instructions, that he or Trent do what they had to do to protect Kristen, including breaking Alex’s bond to spare her pain. Julian still struggled with his feelings for her so he asked Trent to step in. Trent is a newcomer to the series, he is a vampire who Alex trusts and is back in. There are several other newcomers introduced in this book as well, Vampires, some good guys some not so good, we also see more of Kristen’s friends too. There are some interesting turn of events with bonding, mating as well as family ties. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is a cleverly plotted action packed story with plenty of drama, angst, mystery, mind-blowing twists and turns, take you to the edge of your seat thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt and emotional ones and some romance. Stacy Eaton, thank you for another fantastic book, it was a thrilling ride. I love how you masterfully work all the different genres into this series, also love your unique take on paranormal and how you keep it all real. I am looking forward to what happens next in “My Blood Runs Blue”. I listened to the Audible edition, Alex Black is doing a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, humanizing them, giving them their voices, personality and attitude. Great job with Trent’s accent too. He sets the perfect tone for the story, captures the characters emotions and projects them, as well as the drama of the story, into his performance. Thank you for another terrific listen🎧
