    Blue Mercy

This book pulled me in from the first page. It was well written, intense, and engrossing. The relationship between a mother and her daughter, the changes it goes through, and the sacrifice a parent makes for her child. I was taken by complete surprise and awe! The story ends with a bang! Great read.

Mercy for This Mother and Daughter

This book was very hard to put down. The relationship between mothers and daughters is complex, conflicted, and paradoxical to some degree or other no matter who those mothers and daughters are. In this book, it becomes intensified due to the nature of other relationships existing at the same time. This story was very intense and highly emotional but to me, it rang true all the way through. The honesty and integrity were always there for the reader, and if they were sometimes submerged between the book’s characters, it was for reasons that could be readily identified and empathized with. Very well done, and I recommend it to anyone who has been a mother or a daughter or who has a mother or a daughter of their own.

    Blue Mercy by Orna Ross

About family relationships, mainly a mother and her rebellious daughter. It was an enjoyable read although I felt the main male character was not portrayed realistically and I found the ending a bit odd and vaguely unsatisfactory. Nonetheless, the underlying message about the importance of communication in any and all relationships rings true.

    Interesting book.

I found this book quite hard to read. It jumped around between characters and time, making it sometimes difficult to keep track of what was going on. The story was ok and I persevered to the end. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.
