    I love Lucy Rizzo!

Lucy’s last name should be Murphy because, where her life goes, whatever can go wrong, does! I love this series and this latest book carries the humor along while Lucy goes from one disaster to another. Her relationship with Tim O’Hottie is great as it moves along and she is figuring out how to balance between her love for her father while trying to distance herself from his mafia life. If you enjoy crazy antics, snappy dialog and interesting characters, you’ll enjoy this book as much as I did!

The Team is at it again.. Great Addition to series

Another great light hearted story in the Lucie Rizzo Mystery Series. Poor Lucie has a bad habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time; something that drives her detective boyfriend, Tim “O’Hottie” O’Brien nuts. In this case Lucie is walking one of her client’s dogs past a museum when the manager of the museum stops to speak with her and pet the dog. When Lucie continues walking the dog around the block, the dog spots a colorful peacock feather. Thinking the colors beautiful Lucie picks up the feather and takes it back to the shop for Ro to design something for their Dog Fashion Line. What Lucie doesn’t know is that the feather fell off an expensive dress that had just been stolen from the museum. When surveillance cameras spot Lucie outside the museum at the time of the theft, she becomes a suspect. When the cops come to call on her, with boyfriend Tim is tow, they spot the rare feather on the desk. (Of course Lucie being Mob Boss Rizzo’s daughter doesn’t help her proclaiming her innocence). Then the fun begins. Lucie, Ro, and Joey set out to clear Lucie of the crime and find the dress. The gang get into some of the craziest and funny situations with poor Tim caught in the middle more times than he’d like. This is a great light hearted story that will have you smiling and laughing the entire time. If you enjoy a fun, zany story with romance thrown in, you love the Lucie Rizzo Mystery series. 2 Thumbs Up!!!

    Lucy can't keep trouble away.

Lucie really wants her relationship with Tim to move on to the next level. But, how can that happen when she is such a trouble magnet? Lucie doesn't want to put Tim in a position to choose between being with her and his job, but she just can't keep trouble away from her and her family. She is out walking one of the dogs when she meets a woman. They chat for a few minutes and the next thing she knows, she is being accused of taking a very valuable dress from the place where she met the woman. Now Lucie and the gang has to find the dress to clear her name, keep her business from being affected by the accusation and keep Tim from being involved in their investigation as much as possible.

    Mystery

Mystery, romance and comedy abound in the third Lucie Rizzo Mystery. Lucie is once again in the wrong place when something felonious happens and is drug into a case dealing with the theft of a million dollar dress. Lucie works with her best friend Ro, her family, friends and Eric the P.I. working for the insurance company in hopes of clearing her name and finding the missing dress. In this story Lucie and Tim move their romance forward and she deals with some past issues she has had with her father. It is a fun, funny romp of a story that was fun and easy to read. Thank you to the author for the copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review. 3.5 Stars

    Lucie and Tim are wonderful

OH McHottie!! What a caper we have this time! Lucie Rizzo has found her way into trouble again. It’s up to her and her friends to clear her name before she loses clients and her business. With capers and antics along the way, Lucie may end up losing McHottie, her newest love interest. Along the way Lucie and her friends, are helped by her just sprung from jail Mob Boss father and his pals. I really enjoyed the flow of the story. I have been with Lucie since she started Coco Barknel as just a dog walking company in the first of this series. Lucie really seemed to burst from the pages and blossom in this book. She learned how to make a better relationship with her dad, because a dad will always be a dad. Lucie is taking mature strides with her Irish cop boyfriend, Tim “McHottie”. In addition to a great, who dun it style mystery that Lucie and the gang has to solve, there are real family issues that are dealt with maturally and tactfully. It was great to see Lucie and Tim resolving issues and seeing both sides of each others problems. And Lucie and her dad was just sweet, knowing that Mr. Rizzo the Mob Boss is still just a dad too. While this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone.
