    Supernatural supercharged action romance

More action and adventure from the supernatural team that is True Immortality, featuring the immortal Fae and and their true mates. Book 3 sees Niamh Farren finally meeting her true love. Too bad Japanese American werewolf Kiyonari ‘Kiyo’ Fujiwara is not on the market for romance or love, in fact he thinks the true mate bond would shatter his freedom, and under no circumstances will he ever be “mate-whipped”. No way, no how. It would appear though that he underestimated the strength of the true mate bond, and he’s going to learn the hard way, because Niamoh Farren is nobody’s fool, and she’s not going to take orders from anybody, especially some overgrown dog. The fact that Kiyo is charged with protecting Niamh is not something that either of them want, but Kiyo is getting paid a lot of money to keep her alive, so he’s going to stick to her like glue, even if she dies push all his buttons. A great series that I’m really enjoying, I’m loving the characters, their abilities, and their back stories, along with all the action fuelled by the bad guys (they always seem to be a step ahead - how do they do that?). It all makes for an addictive, action packed romance. Kiyo and Niamh gave me all the feels with their supercharged chemistry. Off the charts, slow burn romance at its best. Another winner from S Young. Oh, and I absolutely loved reading all the Japanese translations into English. The little sayings and their literal meanings. What a wonderful language. I really can’t get enough of this series. Whilst I’m sure that book this can be enjoyed and read as a standalone, full understanding of all the characters and myths will be gained by reading the previous 2 books in the series. S Young has also written a novella linking book 2 with book 3 (Kiss of Eternity) which is available to read free on her website https://authorsamanthayoung.com/books/kiss-of-eternity-a-true-immortality-short-story/ I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

    Page Turner!!

Kiyo has been hired to keep Niamh safe from herself. Neither one is very trusting but trust is what they need for each other. Niamh’s visions are leading her astray and make no sense. Soon the pieces are starting to fit into place. Unable to fight their attraction Kiyo and Niamh soon realize they are fated mates. I love how these two complete each other. So can’t wait for the next book!

So exactly how did this little slip of a woman out

Kiyo deserved his forever mate. Someone who could match him in strength and wit. Someone who was not afraid to follow their own path. Someone who would always keep him on his toes and Niamh was that someone. This is the third book in the series and IMO to get the full experience you need to read the series in order. Yes, it can easily be read as a standalone but you will find it more than just another paranormal romance if you have the full picture. The main storyline and the cast are magical. Kiyo has always been the stoic one. The quiet one that gets what needs doing done - No pesky emotions - No need to weigh consequences as he is firm in the knowledge his choices are made using facts (I must say this is currently not working so well for him). Kiyo carries his skeletons close to his chest. Trust no one and betrayal never becomes an issue. So exactly how did this little slip of a woman outsmart him? Not once but twice? Niamh is so much more than meets the eye. I admit I have always been curious about her full back story. We meet her in the previous books and we have front row seats when her world was shattered. She is on a mission to right the wrongs while she avoids the truth of her pain. Her heart is heavy and she feels so alone with the burden she carries. She wants to share the truth but who can she trust? And shouldn't trust work both ways? This was packed with action, angst, adventure, and a slow build romance that will warm even the coldest of hearts! I loved that we got cameos from some of my favorite past characters and that the "fae sisters" are getting the upper hand ... sort of Another fabulous addition to the True Immortality Series

Beautiful world building filled with suspense!

4.5 STARS! Beautiful world building with suspenseful twists and turns at every page, Bound by Forever by S. Young is another brilliant installment to the True Immortality series!! Niamh Farren is a powerful fae that has visions of the future. Treking all through Europe, she's attempting to make sense of what her visions truly mean. Burdened by grief and loss, Niamh begins to lose herself. She's dead set on revenge, but seeking it out may very well cost her her life. Kiyo Fujiwara is the only immortal werewolf of his kind and he's hired by Fionn Mór to protect Niamh. He's a loner, a lost soul wandering for nearly 150 years, living the life of a nomad and spending eternity as a mercenary for hire. So, to say Kiyo wasn't too thrilled about his new task is putting it mildly. But, I must admit I was extremely intrigued by this broody character ever since meeting him in Kiss of Vengeance. Put together a grumpy lone wolf and a beautiful tortured fae and you end up with pretty explosive chemistry and a sweet, sweet slow burn! In the beginning, all they did was bicker back and forth but as time went on they got to know one another. Finally, succumbing to the deep-rooted feelings each felt. Not only will you get a series filled with the paranormal, but each book you get to fall in love with these characters. The series has intricately woven each book together, leading to an epic ending coming in 2021!! This is definitely a series I recommend you try. Action and a swoon worthy romance, Bound by Forever is such a thrilling read!
