4.5 Star review of Bound In Darkness (Misplaced Halos #3) by Nicole Edwards   I was a little surprised at how much I enjoyed this story as I freely admit that paranormal stories are not one of my go to genres to read.   This story is vampire Kaj Courtenay and the woman who brings him to his knees Acadia. Kat has enemies, not only from within his own race, but others who are out to destroy him and his kind. He knows he needs to focus on what is happening around him and the danger that surrounds him but he is bound and determined to convince Acadia that she is the one for him. Acadia is not free to love Kaj and both of them must fight to break free of the ties that bind them and their pasts before they can make a life together. The question is what will it cost them and is it worth the price that will be paid? The chemistry between Kaj and Acadia is intense and you can feel the heat rising between them as well as their connection to one another. I was drawn into the story that Ms.Edwards wove.   There was so much going on in this story, you really need to experience it for yourself. If you are a fan of paranormal romance then this book will be right up your alley. Bound in Darkness is a well written love story about true soul mates that just happens to revolve around Angels, Demons, the Fae and Vampires.
