    Great Read!

I really enjoyed this novel! The author has an easy style. The story keeps the reader engaged. Characters are well developed and action scenes well placed.

    A superlative novel

It's not often that you get to read a book that is as well written and conceived as this one. A master work. I don't believe I need to say anymore. Buy it. Read it.

Stunning. I wish it never ended.

I've never publicly reviewed a book in my life, but I must with this one. I don't think I've ever read a book I loved more than this and I've read thousands. It resonated with me, and I don't know why. Possibly because my dad was born close to the same time as the main character, and it felt like I was reading about a year in his childhood. I felt I could see him and his friends throughout the story. The whole time I was reading it, I kept thinking I can't wait to pass it on to my dad to read, hopefully he'll enjoy it as much as I did. I'm so looking forward to reading more from Robert McCammon now that I've discovered him.
