A Wonderful End to a Wonderful Series!

4.5☆ I have really enjoyed the whole Wicked series. It's a very interesting and unique world that just sucks you in. Brave had a good storyline with a lot of surprising plot twists that kept me on my toes. The characters, as usual, are wonderfully written and always entertaining. Ivy struggles with who she is in Brave. She loses herself after everything that happened in Torn and it takes her a while to get back. Being in her head is always a lot of fun. She's not just funny though, she's tough, smart, and good at what she does. She really fits the title of Brave in this book. I still absolutely love Ren and Tink. Ren is such a strong alpha male, but is also super sweet. He's a wonderful man and I love reading about him. His relationship with Ivy is so cute. He knows how to talk to her and get past her guards when she puts them up. He's the perfect guy! And then there's Tink. He's hilarious like usual, there's never a dull moment when he's around. You never know what's going to come out of his mouth, but you know it'll most likely make you laugh. I like that there was a little bit more to him though. He showed that he's not all laughs in this book. One thing that I didn't like as much was the ending. It felt like more of an open ending with a few questions lingering. I don't know if that's how she planned it, but I personally was hoping and expecting more of a wrap up with the characters as well as the storyline. With that being said, Brave was a great read and I'm sad that the series is over. I loved the Wicked world and all the characters, I'll miss them.

An amazing ending to this series

What can I say about this book? God, so much has happened in it and I'm still trying to get through my feels of this book. It was really a rollercoaster of action even when not a lot seemed to be happening because the characters had so much to think through it all. Ivy's world is changing and she has a lot of trouble dealing with it and dealing with everything that happened to her. It affects not only her, but those around her. I was torn most of the time between slapping her and wanting to hug her and protect her. Ivy is a strong character, but she's also vulnerable and I think that was something she didn't know how to handle most of the time. She is also having a hard time knowing who she can trust when she has been lied by so many people around her, whether they had good or bad reasons to do so. Learning to think otherwise than the way she had been taught isn't easy for her. Ivy and Ren's relationship is going to go through so much in this book and sometimes, you will feel helpless as a reader as events keep falling on them, making it harder for them to deal with their problems. I seriously enjoyed just how realistic this was and how well it blended with the rest of the story. And we can't forget about Think who always finds a way to surprise us along with the others. This character is so lovable and funny. His presence itself will bring some chaos into this book. And the faes bring more questions than answers sometimes, but I really liked that we got another side of the story between them and the Order. And the characters that were added to this series in this book were so interesting that I'm looking forward to the novella in 2018 about one of them. I'm really intrigued about what insight it will give us about that character. So much is happening in this book that you don't have the time to take in what you just learned when something else hits you and you're wondering what's the next thing that will drop on our beloved characters. This book was a really good conclusion to this series. It was an amazing series and I recommend everyone to go and grab the first book if they haven't started it or if you did and you haven't continue, go and grab the next books because you will want to get to the end of this story.

A must read book and trilogy.

A brilliant book dealing with the fall out of Ren and Ivy's capture and imprisonment. So much happened during their capture which has an impact on their lives after their escape that Ivy can barey cope. The book is very well written. There are many issues to deal and the book is very complex. Loved the book and the entire trilogy. Brilliant.
