    Interesting read

For those who like to study religions, human relations, psychology, or are just interested in learning about polygamist lifestyle, this is a great read. Its told with facts but also follows the storyline of a young girls life. I throughly enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend it.

    Shocking and inspiring

Prior to reading I had only known what little I remember from watch tv coverage of the raid. This book is very eye opening to what life was really like and you can feel the pain that Rachel went through. I'm happy that she has found happiness despite her father.

    Truth stranger than Fiction

I was heartbroken for the people of the FLDS after reading this book. I was also flabbergasted at the ability of one man in particular to brainwash people into believing the most bizarre behaviours. And sickened by it too. Rachel Jeff deserves a future of happiness. She did a good job of trying to tell her truth which I'm sure was way more detailed in life than one book could ever reveal. A must read memoir.
