    Thanks for your feedback!

A good start to a new series; no cliffhanger.

This was my first book by Katie Rose and I really enjoyed reading it. Darcy and Chase were very likeable characters. Darcy is a house-sitter for famous socialite, Lydia Logan. Lydia is going out of the country so she tells Darcy to take her place at a charity event. Since the event is hosted by her favorite baseball team, the Sonics, she is excited to go. At the event she meets her favorite player, Chase Westbrook. When Chase doesn’t want to listen, Darcy just goes on pretending to be Lydia. Before too long things snowball and Darcy finds herself impersonating Lydia at more events and hanging out with Chase. She falls hard for him but is in constant fear of what will happen when he finds out how she has been deceiving him. Chase is perplexed by the mixed signals he gets from Darcy/Lydia. Her public profile paints her as a self-centered, spoiled rich girl. Yet when they are together he sees many other facets to her personality. She’s kind to children and she pitches in to help a friend in the kitchen at a social event. He is falling hard for her. This was a very engaging story with a few twists. It has an HEA and I was very entertained while finding out how Chase and Darcy managed to resolve all of their problems to get there.

    very good

Liked this book a lot. The story of Chase & Darcy is sweet, funny, sad & hot. Darcy is house sitting for a socialite & goes to a benefit on her invitation. Being confused as the socialite she meets MLB pitcher Chase & a relationship begins. She's eventually outed by the real socialite & loses Chase to her. She gets a surprise when she thinks that she's lost everything & life looks sad & lonely. Definitely recommend to read.
