3.5 stars This is one of the few books that I’ve struggled to write a review for. It just didn’t do it for me. I think it’s because I didn’t really care about getting Morris’s story. I didn’t hate it but I was quite happy when it finished. It’s really well written and packed full from start to finish so if your a big fan of insta-everything stories then this is definitely for you. It was all just abit to quick for me, a lot happens in a day and was too short a timespan for me. I think if it was spaced over a little bit longer I would of enjoyed it more. I love Chelle Bliss though so it doesn’t put me off I’ve just chalked it up to probably being in the wrong mindset when I started it!

  • Loved it

5 star Review Broken Sparrow (Men of Inked: Heatwave #8) by Chelle Bliss From the moment we were first introduced to Morris early in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series, he intrigued me. Now he is getting his own story and I couldn’t wait to dive in and I couldn’t wait to see what Chelle Bliss had in store for him. This story has it all, age gap romance, a hot alpha biker, a single mom with an adorable little girl as well as passion and heat. I knew that the woman who would bring him to his knees would be special and Alice Sparrow and her daughter Zoey are. My heart broke for everything that Alice has been through and her need to run from an abusive husband. From the moment that he sets eyes on Alice, he sees a woman who is in trouble, haunted and terrified. I loved how all in Morris was and how determined he was to protect Alice and Zoey. I fell hard and fast for Morris, such a swoon worthy, caring, protective and passionate man. Who knew under his gruff and hardened exterior beat the heart of a warrior? When they first met there was an instant connection and sparks flew but it was the care and compassion he showed to both Alice and Zoey that really melted my heart. This book is all about second chances, love and finding happiness when you least expect it. family. One click this little gem, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

  • Did not want to put this down!

I was very excited about this book when I learned the Chelle Bliss was writing it, and it was one I did not want to put down! Alice has not been lucky in love. She has a six-year old little girl named Zoey and Zoey's dad is not in the picture. Alice married a couple of years ago and now she is doing whatever she can to get away from him, as it's unhealthy for both she and Zoey. Now they are on the run and for a woman who doesn't trust easily, it's going to be a challenge. Alice ends up encountering Morris at a gas station. He realizes she is struggling and the VP of the MC offers her help until she can get back on her feet. For some reason, she feels she can trust Morris even given the issues she's had with men in the past and Morris feels a connection to her that he simply can't explain. Alice and Morris continue to grow closer as they deal with the danger that is her husband. The secondary characters in this book, including Zoey, Lia and Leo are as captivating as Alice and Morris and they just enrich the story that much more. I enjoyed this so much and it's one I'd definitely recommend picking up!

  • Rich Emotions & A Lush Story Create One Amazing Re

I thought this book was amazing and boy did I fall hard for Morris and Alice. I proudly admit that I am a self-proclaimed age gap junkie, so this book had that going for it right from the start but once you add in the rich emotions and lush story being told I was firmly hooked. This is a powerhouse read that aims straight for your heart and takes no prisoners on the way there. Alice had my heart aching and Morris had me swooning!! The feels were intense and epic. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

  • Fantastic characters!!

What a fantastic story! Chelle invites us to learn more about a side character from her other series and boy did he make me swoon! Morris is definitely a rough and tough biker but this shows the adorably attractive softer side. Alice is a single mom on the run, but she's got great strength you'll love. I loved all the characters interactions and maybe we see sneaks into future stories. 😉
