    Loved!!

Loved this story!! It's the second in the Jupiter Point series but can easily be read standalone. Josh Marshall is the happily go lucky flirt in Jupiter Point's Hotshot team. Never wanting any strings or attachments, he always keeps things light. Suzanne Finnegan is serious and determined. She wants a happy life and that means marriage and kids. Now that she's engaged to Logan things seem to be progressing nicely. So what if he's not as attentive as he could be and so what if the passion between them is barely a flicker. You can't have everything. Right?? Why then did she have this intense draw to Josh Marshall. He is all wrong for her on so many levels. Friends are all they ever can be. When Josh is hurt during a fire fight, Suzanne finds herself playing nurse for him. Logan may be the man she needs but Josh is the man she wants. What the heck does she do now??? A great read that everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend it.

    Loved it!!

This book was exciting, fun and heartwarming! Josh is a wildfire fighter and when he's not on the lines of a fire he is a jokester who doesn't have a desire to take life seriously. He likes his free lifestyle and doesn't want to change it. Suzanne is his total opposite. She is a planner with goals to achieve her perfect future. I really feel in love with these characters and their quirkiness. I was smiling through most of the book but there were some intense parts also that had me biting my nails a little. The interplay between Suzanne and Josh was hot but not overboard. All in all, a great story!!

    Wow!! Loving these Hotshot Stories

Wow!! I am loving these Hotshots from Jupiter Point!! Josh is the new hotshot and is a playboy, not looking for anything serious until he meets Suzanne, can they be more than friends. Suzanne has her life planned out, marriage, kids and white picket fence until her fiance asks for a "free pass". There is an intense sizzling chemistry between Josh and Suzanne, that they both try to fight off until an injury to Josh and Suzanne plays nurse to Josh. Then they finally open their hearts to each other. This is great addition to Hotshot series, can be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend this book, can't wait for more.

    Fun Entertaining Book!!!

Burn So Bright by Jennifer Bernard.....This was a fun entertaining story that I could not put down. Jennifer Bernard has a way of sucking the readers into the story and you feel like the characters are your friends. I absolutely loved Josh and Suzanne, I enjoyed seeing the sparks fly between them and seeing their stories be told. This series has been amazing and I can't wait for the next book by Jennifer Bernard. I highly recommend this book or any other book by this wonderful author. I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of this book.

It surpassed all my very high expectations!

Suzanne Finnegan, a party planner, is proud that the event she just planned is a resounding success, if only her fiancé Logan weren’t absent. Again. Suzanne wants a stable future, and Logan is part of that carefully planned out life. Logan is so unlike Josh Marshall who just waltzed in with the rest of the Hot Point hotshots, wildfire fighters. Suzanne likes Josh, he’s funny, gorgeous and sweet, but flighty; he is so not her type for the long haul. On the other hand, Suzanne is exactly Josh’s type except for one major flaw: she’s engaged. Make that two major flaws: she is into long-term relationships and Josh isn’t. The Logan pops a very unpleasant surprise on Suzanne when he announces that, before they tie the knot, they should sleep around. Suzanne is livid, she gets a bit tipsy and makes a pass at Josh. And if you’re rolling your eyes, thinking you know exactly where this is going, you don’t know Jennifer Bernard! With BURN SO BRIGHT, Jennifer Bernard validates her superlative storytelling talents! Josh seems to be all sunshine and insouciance, while Suzanne is recently – understandably – somewhat grumpy, and while she doesn’t try to deny her attraction to Josh, she knows he’s only temporary; should she risk it? I loved how Ms. Bernard meticulously plotted BURN SO BRIGHT, there are so many unpredictable twists and turns, and Josh and Suzanne’s relationship is quite the suspense! The characters are extremely well defined, the banter between the firefighters is absolutely brilliant, and I really loved the honest exchanges between Suzanne and her journalist friend, Merry, as well as the conversations Josh and Suzanne have, as real friends do. I also fell in love with Suzanne’s dream house, the Casa di Stella, which is a character of some importance in BURN SO BRIGHT. I also loved that we were privy to Logan and Suzanne’s heart-to-heart talks, and that they were not just mentioned in passing, because it was important to get the feel of that relationship. I have seldom seen such exceptional character development, as well as an amazing ending that kept me on my toes until the end! I knew that Josh’s story would be interesting, but BURN SO BRIGHT surpasses my wildest expectations! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
