    Thanks for your feedback!

A great value for this boxed set!

OMG - Two of the books in this boxed set are probably my favorite books by Elle James and the third one is great, too. I read and reviewed these when they were published individually. Below are my reviews from back then. 5 Stars - Voodoo on the Bayou: A funny, sexy book. A new favorite by Elle James. This book is a bit different than ones I’m used to reading by Elle James – but that’s not a bad thing; in fact, it was fun to read something a bit different. At around 22% I was laughing out loud to the point that my hubby wanted to know what was so funny. Of course I then had to read him a few of the paragraphs that were making me laugh. I’ve never read a romantic comedy written by Elle James, in fact I’ve never read anything else by her quite like this and I loved it! Least you think that funny doesn’t also include sexy time, something Elle always does well, let me assure you that by around 50% we have some seriously sexy stuff going on! Craig has been hexed by a Voodoo priestess. He’s doomed to live as a frog by day and a man by night unless he finds true love before the next full moon which is about 2 weeks away. There’s just one problem, Craig is commitment phobic and has no desire to settle down. This premise gives Elle James the opportunity to write some terrific scenes for Craig. He has to make sure that he’s not out in public when he transforms – especially when he changes from frog to man as frogs don’t wear clothes. LOL This is where some of the really funny stuff comes out. Elaine and Craig have quite a few adventures in this story. There is also mystery and intrigue thrown in as well as a few close calls. All in all this is quite a story and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I look forward to reading more of this type of story from Elle James. ********************************** 4 Stars - Voodoo for Two: This was a very fun book to read. It’s a bit of a departure from Elle James usual stories but it still contains her style of sexy heat and descriptive prose. The departure is that there’s more humor in Voodoo for Two, along with a bit of magic, mystery and suspense. This book is also a bit longer than her average story so if you’re looking for something with a little more to it than a category length book this would be a good choice. The characters and their story were entertaining and kept me glued to my ereader for a few hours of enjoyable reading. ********************************** 5 Stars - Deja Voodoo: I couldn't stop laughing in places and didn't want to put this one down. This is book 3 in the Cajun Magic Mystery series but it can also be read as a stand-alone. I was enchanted by the first book in this series, I liked the second one and this one had me laughing out loud in places (just like the first book). Alex doesn't have time for a relationship. She has her own business to run and 18 brothers and sisters that keep her busy. Since her father passed away she tries to help her mother as much as she can. Her friend wants her to find the same kind of happiness that she found with Alex's brother, Ben, so she has her grandmother (a famous Voodoo Priestess) help her concoct a charm to find a man. Things go pretty wrong when Alex, unknowing what the Voodoo charm is for, says to her dog, "Oh, Sport, I wish you were a man." It was soon after this that I started laughing so much I could hardly keep reading. After voicing her wish Alex falls asleep. The next thing she knows is that she wakes up next to a strange man who licks her on the face. OK, I know I'm not making it sound so funny here but, trust me, you will laugh when you read this for yourself. It's not as easy as you might think for a dog-turned-man to behave correctly. Our hero, Ed, works with Alex's brother and he's in Bayou Miste to help keep a key witness safe. No one can know what Ed really does or why he is "vacationing" in Bayou Miste. Ed is renting a small house from Alex's mom and her mother has set her sights on setting up Ed with Alex. Ed, however, wants no part of a relationship. His ex-wife divorced him because of his job and he's decided that he's not relationship material. This book is a perfect blend of comedy, sexy time, and mystery. Someone is out to get Ed's witness and he finds that he not only needs to protect the witness but also Alex and her family. If you've never read romantic comedy before, but you like other books by Elle James, you really need to give this one a try. All three books in the series are great but this one is now my favorite.
