    a simple act of kindness

A great start to a new series, I really enjoy when Ms. Barton gives us a new set of characters to fall in love with. Caleb is a quiet character with a big sense of right and wrong. Coming from a poor beginning he worked hard to become successful and find his place in the world. He came off as a gentle giant, had a big heart but is not afraid to get down and dirty when the situation calls for it. Quinn is the opposite, she is a force to be reckoned with right from the start but sees the real Caleb when she takes the time to look. Several twists and turns will keep you on your toes, Interesting characters and situations will leave you shaking your head or smiling. There was a lot of love in this book and a focus on the importance placed on blood family and those that you bring into your inner circle. I always feel like Ms. Barton is weaving a hidden message into her storylines focusing a lot on the importance of family ties and being able to overcome obstacles with the right kind of support. I found this story to easy to read, the characters were fun and interesting and as always I hate when it comes to an end. I look forward to the next adventure. I volunteered to review this story for my honest opinion.

    Sweetie Pie Caleb

This is a new series and I must say it started off great. Caleb was a sweetie pie he was quiet but domineering. Quinn was a firecracker she didn't take no mess. They were total opposites but so good together. Really enjoyed this book so many twists and turns definitely erotic. Can't wait for Gabriel's story. Great job!!!

    Caleb and Quinn

Oh my goodness! Kathi is just hitting it out of the park this year with her new series! Caleb Winchester grew up humble and dirt poor. He's was the kind of teenager who grew up and befriended an old man when he needed a reason to live. After losing this man who became family, Caleb can't imagine what life will be like now. When his boss tries to prevent him from returning home to attend his funeral he quits. Arnold (the old deceased man) has always known that Caleb would grow up and do something good. So to make his dreams come true he leaves the Winchester family with everything he had to make their dreams come true. Quinn is a bit skeptical about seeking out Caleb to work on their label for the product. She knows that Lancaster has been screwing her and her dad's company over for the past week trying to pass of sub-par material as Caleb's. Discovering the Winchester's are all wolf shifters scares Quinn, especially after she's recently been attacked by one. From the minute Caleb and Quinn meet their mating it's easy. Quinn is scared of what they are and Caleb can scent the alpha's claiming bite on Quinn. She's also been poisoned is going to die unless Caleb can see past Quinn's wishes and change her. My only complaint about this book is it felt like the storyline with Lancaster was left unfinished. The son has now had his money maker buy his company that his father gave him and he was determined to prove he was the best ad campaign artist, but it was pretty much finished with him after that...
