Don't judge a book by its cover!

They say don't judge a book by the cover, well that's the case for this book. I assumed based on the cover this would be the typical musician story. It was't. This is the 3rd book in the Nashville Dreams series. You don't have to have read the previous two books to enjoy this one. But it might make certain conversations and scenes make more sense. I found it difficult to review this book. There were things I really liked, but things I really didn't. Both Russ and Joslynn were leary of relationships, so even though they were interested in each other they didn;t jump into bed. I was happy that they didn't spend half the book dancing around each other before they got together. Joslynn was more resistant to relationships and love. She protested Russ' love but it didn't drag out for several chapters. They had ups and downs but for the most part this book was pretty much a nice relaxing read. The parts that did cause some anxiety were somewhat predictable though. But the problems they faced were real problems, not blown out of proportion miscommunications. While I don't think I am going to read the first two books in this series, I did enjoy this book and would recommend this book.
