    absolutely fantastic

Hayward has done it again! This fantastic novel held me from cover to cover, never letting go. Emotion and heartbreak shine through as readers get drawn into the world of the ruling elite. This well written, intricately plotted novel was just what I needed. Hayward writes emotion that pours from the pages of this novel as readers get drawn in to the fascinating world that she’s developed. The characters that Hayward presents here truly take the story to the next level. I love how approachable these characters are. Sure they’re part of the upper echelon of society, but they are so human. Hayward develops their emotion in such a manner that I couldn’t help but fall for them. The in-depth manner in which we get to know them was fantastic. The way that I could fall in love with them without finding them the least bit perfect made them so endearing. These main characters were perfectly perfect for one another. This novel has quickly become a top pick for me. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every second of it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

    Disappointmentville: Kingdoms & Crowns Series

2 out of 5 stars. On the night that Sofia decides to call it quits with Nik (Nikandros) .... she ends up pregnant and Nik's older brother dies, which in turn makes him next-in-line to become King. Then because of his father's health, he seems to become King (a role he was never supposed to have) over night. Though when he learns of Sofia's pregnancy, it feels as though life goes from bad to worse. Sofia wants/needs trust and love in her life for their relationship to work .... will Nik be able to give that to her? I wish I could've liked this novel more, but I just couldn't. I struggled with it from the beginning, mostly because Sofia and Nik's relationship felt so forced. Then add in Nik's condescending ways and I can say for 75% of this novel I did not like the man. In addition, the plot's flow/mojo just was off or didn't feel right and lead me to believe that something else (like Nik being setup in a compromising way) was going to take place right up until the end and that never happened. Overall, this one wasn't for me and I don't feel comfortable recommending it. However, please check it out for yourself as it could be the book for you. Review By: From Me to You ... Sexy royalty!

4 1/2 STARS! Royalty at it’s finest! Royal scandals, family discord, kingdom feuds, impetuous flings, and an innocent babe on the way! Manhattan fashion boutique owner Sofia Ramirez enjoyed her fling with Prince Nikandros Constantinides of Akathinia, but decided it was time to walk away before she became too attached. After one last night together, Nik discovered his brother had been killed in a horrible accident and returned home to his Mediterranean island. Nik never expected to be King, but now that his brother is gone and his father is ill and ready to step down, that is exactly what happens. He finds out that he is set to wed for political gain, but when he hears that Sofia is pregnant, he immediately returns to Manhattan and fetches her to his home instead to become his wife and give him his heir. Will Nik be able to bring peace to his Kingdom against strong adversaries? And will Sofia be able to get through to him and bring down his walls to make theirs a relationship that will last?
