    Beautiful Series Ending

It is bittersweet to come to the end of the Heroes at Heart series. Each story is a standalone with the common thread of a foster family lovingly lead by Miss Ethel and each loosely based on a fairy tale. Cas is the last brother still single. He is quiet and hardworking. A mechanic by day but his true calling is in the gorgeous furniture he makes in his spare time. “It seems like I spend a lot of my time looking back at the past. It’s only been recently that I started looking forward.” ...”But until I reached back and touched my past, I couldn’t move forward.” Bianca travels back to the last place she felt happiness and rediscovers the family of brothers who befriended her. “It only hurts if I let their arrows land on me.” Her lips curved into a slow smile and she lifted her head to stare at him again, “You’ve always been my shield. When you’re around, their arrows bounce off.” Cas is an absolutely beautiful story. A second chance love story. It has all the elements that remind me why I read this genre! -5 Stars!!- -Diane-

The last of Miss Ethel’s boys finds his HEA

I came late to this series, starting with Zeke, but then working my way back to Zander because Miss Ethel’s boys get into your heart and you can’t get enough. And sadly, Cas is the last of her boys, and thus the last of the series. There are wonderful cameos from the others and their wives, and of course a starring role for Miss Ethel herself, both from Cas’s youth and now. And, as a loose retelling of Snow White and the seven dwarfs, there must, of course, be a Snow White, and that is Bianca, whose initial meeting with Cas speaks so much of his character and her persistence. The serendipitous nature of their reconnection is vintage Maryann Jordan too, and she’s woven the fairy-tale in so smoothly, with that truly evil Wicked Stepmother and, of course, the Woodsman himself. I shall miss Miss Ethel and these boys.

    A true fairytale....

Maryann Jordan has a way of making me feel as thought I’m part of the family. Sitting in Miss Ethel’s living room listening to her stories. Cas knew from the moment he met the beauty from across the street that there was something special about her. Especially when she decided Cas was her shield. Her protector. Miss Ethel and her boys she nicknames the 7 dwarfs quickly welcomed Bianca into the family. Just when Cas gets the courage to explore the feelings he has for Bianca her dad and her evil stepmother move away. Years later Bianca returns to Virginia and fate steps in and they’re reunited. Cas finds out Just how evil her stepmother really is. Bianca has had a hard life. Cas is determined to convince her to stay and make a life with him. After all she’s always been a part of the family. The other half of his heart. But her evil stepmother has plans of her own. I really don’t want this series to end! I love Miss Ethel her words of wisdom and her boys! “I voluntarily received this arc book for an honest review”

    Absolutely Loved

Cas: Heroes at Heart is the final book in this wonderfully written series by the talented Maryann Jordan. This is a story about family, loss and love, it will definitely pull at your heartstrings make you smile or giggle at times and bring a tear or two other times. I was unable to put this book down it was such a wonderful story. Cas is a dreamer and an artist who has been loved and raised along side his seven brothers by the loving Miss Ethel. One day Cas is looking for some alone time but his time is interrupted by the adorable and energetic new neighbor Bianca. This is just the start to a very enjoyable read, I want to say so much more but I don't want to give any of this great story away. All I want to say is this was a sweet end to one of my favorite series. I hope you will enjoy this story as much as I did. If this is your first Heroes at Heart book I recommend you read the others in this series to get to know all the great characters. This is a mush read and a book you won't want to miss.

A Beautiful Finale To The Series

This is part of the Heroes At Heart Series by Maryann Jordan. Cas is one of Miss Ethel's boys It's loosely based on the fairy tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This is Cas and Bianca's story and their second chance at love. As usual Maryann Jordan does a wonderful job with her characters. She brings them to life in such a delightful way. This book is moving, emotional and heartwarming. This is the final book in this series and that makes me sad. But all good things must end sometime. A beautiful love story that you will enjoy. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review. A great finale to a wonderful series. Those boys made Miss Ethel proud.
