    Compelling and infuriating

Farrow manages to make a devastating and bleak topic compelling and surprisingly enjoyable to read, with frequent humorous interjections and asides that never betray the seriousness of the subject. His writing is clear and compelling, making you want to gulp the book down in huge chunks at a time.

    Catch and Kill

An absolutely terrifying look at the power dynamics in America. You'll never look at "truth" in the same way again.

    Stunning achievement

Fantastic, eye-opening book on men and power by Ronan Farrow. It’s meticulously sourced and reads like a thriller. Highly recommend.

    Frustrating!

My college senior thesis was about the so-called “Year of the Woman” following the 1992 elections, which resulted in more women in Congress than ever before. I was frustrated by the title as the year featured sexual violence (including harassment) as well as criticism of women: Senator Packwood, Mike Tyson, Anita Hill, Tailhook, and Hilary Rodham, to name a few. “Really?” I thought. “A year? How about my life!” To have the 1992 dubbed “The Year of the Woman” not because of the incredible accomplish, ents of women, but because of the bad behavior of men, was insulting (regardless of the gains of representation in Congress). I thought our country had learned something. This book taught me that men learned nothing! Such a good and important book. A must read!

    Catch and Kill

Brilliant! Simply brilliant and relevent!! Superb reporting, a mesmerizing tale of corruption, abuse and misuse of power. Couldn't put it down until finished. Farrow deserves his Pulitzer and accolades!!
