  • Believe in Fairytales

A beautiful love story that will make you believe in fairytales. Sawyer is grumpy and closed off. He doesn’t trust many people. Addie is sweet and an optimist. This is a story about discovering yourself and being better for it. The conversations will have you laughing as Sawyer and Addie banter with their quick wit. You will love Grams and Addie’s parents as they torture them about their relationship. As these two keep giving IOUs, they can’t help but fall in love. It takes a lot of love for Sawyer to finally open his heart and embrace all the goodness that comes with being loved by Addie.

  • Sweet story

3.5/5 stars This was the first book that I have read from this author and it was an ok read for me. This was a standalone in this series so you don’t need to read the others to know what is going on. Addison need a celebrity for a charity event that she is chairing and instead of asking Sawyer, she decides to kidnap him from the airport. This leads to them exchanging IOUs for various things. It was a sweet sports romance and if that is what you are looking for, then this is the book for you. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

  • Catching Her Heart

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Entangled Publishing via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This was a good story. I enjoyed get to see Isla and Liam from the first story making multiple appearances here. Addison (Addy) and Sawyer both work for the Nashville Slammers baseball franchise. Sawyer is the catcher with a knee injury and Addy works behind the scene working both PR and wellness for the entire franchise. Sawyer is a very private person who knows his days are numbered due to his age. His injury though may just move up the retirement date. He is afraid to let others know the extent of the injury as the team is going into the playoffs. The team has worked hard for this and Sawyer wants to be a part of it. Addy on the other hand is very out going and just a positive person. She wants to be on the local MS board. To help her in her endeavor, she kidnaps Sawyer at the airport and takes him to a charity event to be auctioned off to raise money for MS. They soon are trading favors and some of them are hilarious, like Sawyer wants Addy to go with him to play poker with him and his Grams at her assisted living facility to help “protect” him from the older women’s grabby hands!!!! Both characters has several issues to work through on their journey to a HEA. It was a fun read to see them struggling to overcome their dilemmas. I adore the dual POV that the story is written in. Getting into the characters’ thought process to understand their actions really helps me to connect with them. This is a wonderful story and I highly recommend it.

  • Loved!

Loved this book!!! Sawyer is the catcher for a MLB team in Nashville and is a bit jaded on people after his parasitic family members have done their best to extract every dollar possible from him, treating him more like an ATM rather than a son or brother. Addie is a member of the staff for his team and is responsible for player wellness and special projects and has a perpetually sunny personality. Her family, while not perfect, is everything that Sawyer's is not. They first meet when Addie attempts to kidnap him to get his help with a special project near and dear to her heart. While a bit annoyed, he agrees to help, but tells her she'll owe him a favor. Thus begins their relationship and the trading of favors back and forth. I loved the way their relationship unfolded and the way they interacted together. The author made me feel like I was a part of their story and made me invested in their getting a HEA ending. While this is the first book I've read by this author, it won't be the last and I'm looking forward to reading more books by her.

  • Puts heart before hormones ...

A case of mistaken identify leads to an adventure of the heart. She knows his name. He hasn't got a clue. When a beautiful woman crosses paths with a celebrity there proves to be chaos ahead. Holford proves sweet can be a spicy treat. Catching Her Heart puts heart before hormones and delivers a laughfest. Addison and Sawyer are a reminder that even at the most inopportune times love manages to find a way.
