Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian I Dig Good Books. 5/5 (Exceptional) *I received a copy of this book from Goddess Fish Promotions in exchange for a fair and honest review.* This book was incredible. I read it in one sitting and couldn’t fall asleep until I finished the story. This book is full of twists, turns, and crazy happenings! You can’t help but no stop reading this book, you have to know what crazy thing the male lead, Mitchell, is going to be up to next. I stopped guessing what was next because I was tired of being wrong! If you like sitting on the edge of your seat while reading, you will love this story! Since this story involves a couple of precious kids, my stomach was literally in knots from page one. I generally refuse to read stories involving kids in anyway because it pulls on my heartstrings way too much but I think the author did a great job including these delicate details. I think the kids, especially Jack, keep the story going and provide a very important detail to the story. Without them I don’t think the story would have been as compelling. There were times I wanted to throw my kindle. There were times I was mentally yelling at the kindle (remember, I was kept awake reading this, with a sleeping family, hence mental yelling). There were times when I was mentally giving Ava a high five, saying “You Go Girl.” I think you get the picture. This book evokes a number of different emotions and they don’t stop until you read the last page. Without a doubt, I absolutely recommend this book. It’s a page turner, attention grabber, do not put the book down kind of story!

  • Emotional and Gripping!

This book pulled at my heartstrings. At times I had to walk away because it affected me so deeply. If you have a heart in your chest, you too will be affected. Have tissues handy. Ava is a fierce momma bear in all her glory. She will do what ever it takes to save her children from the monster that used to be her husband. Center of Gravity is experienced in many POV's including Ava, Jack (one of the kids), Mitchell (her jerk of an ex), and a few more. I won't give anything away but I will express again just how emotional this story is! It is also dramatic, suspenseful, gripping, sickening in parts when the ex does certain things, intensely psychological, foreboding and dangerous. It was a nail-biter. If you like your books emotional and suspenseful. You'll be thrilled with this one. I received an ecopy in exchange for my honest opinion.
