    A Great Read

After I finished this book, I just wanted more. Dragons and witches battling to fix old wrongs, what more could you need in a book. The characters are well developed and the plot moves quickly as the suspense builds. I'm hoping that Sabrina and Nicholas and the gang will make more appearances in the future.

    Family and secrets?!

This is the 2nd book in the Dragon Mage series, the first one being Verdant Magic based around Amber and Zane, and although you don't need to read them in order I think it adds a bit more understanding if you do. Sabrina is a strong, feisty captain of her family airship with more than her fair share of secrets and Nicholas is a dragon who has the unenviable task of relieving people of secrets that are a serious burden to them. For me the sense of humour coming from not taking themselves too seriously is a real pull plus I loved getting the story from both points of view throughout rather than needing to wait for a side story to come out. I would definitely recommend and eagerly await the next Dragon Mage book :-)

    Love this series

I loved this second book in the Dragon Mage series as much as I did the first book, Verdent Magic. It takes place after the first book, but if you haven't read that one, and you should, you will have no problem following this one. Sabrina played a party in that book, as well as some of the others you will meet in this one. Sabrina is a wind witch, though she tries to hide her power since it is not always considered a good thing to have magic. She captains a wind ship which is a type of dirigible. She is currently deeply in debt and the person she owes this debt to is also holding her past over her head, well actually her father's past. The job he wants her to do goes against everything she tries to stand for, but she is not sure how to get out of it. Kidnap a female dragon? Out from under the nose of a family of dragons, one of whom is mated to her best, and possibly only, friend? And then there is Nicholas, one of the dragons, who is famous for worming secrets of out people. Something about him makes her want to tell him everything, but how will he feel about her if he learns her secrets? Especially the one about how her father made his living. This book has it all. Bad guys, good guys, people you can love and people you can hate. Action, adventure, and love. I got a free copy of this book from the author. I was under no obligation to write this review. I love all of Aimee's books and you will too. Join her newsletter and try her other shifter books.

    More adventures!

In this book, the knowledge of her father’s real business had Sabrina, the wind witch, struggling with well hidden secrets. And some evil man was trying to get advantage of her risking hers and others life. Decided, independent and fierce woman she was and would not give in. Nicholas, dragon shifter felt attracted by captain Fairweather. Not only her looks but her strength as a powerful air witch enthralled him. With intriguing characters, a mission, traitors and evil dragons threatening the Intrepid and its crew, this story kept me reading enjoying the drama and the action. Like this kind of stories where we got to know more about secondary characters from a previous story. They tie loose ends and add to the intrigue and suspense. This story has action, intrigue, adventure, magic, secrets, passion and a suspenseful plot developments that made the story interesting. Well written story that I liked, enjoyed and left me eager for more.
