I read this book as part of an arc program. I really enjoyed this emotional read about Greer and Aveline. Greer and Aveline attend the same on-line college and have been friends for two years, but have never met face to face, they only talk on-line and on the phone. Aveline also works two jobs and is caring for her mother who was left in a vegetative state after a car accident. Aveline doesn't have time for a relationship, but always wanted to meet Greer. Greer is keeping a secret from Aveline, he is the bassist for Rusted Reckless, a popular country/ rock band and is currently on tour. When Greer is playing a concert Aveline is attending with her cousin Rob, Greer's band members call her on stage and introduce her to Greer, much to her shock. They have a fun night and almost kiss, until it is time for the band to leave. Greer asks for a do-over and flies Aveline to meet him, where they have a great weekend. They begin a relationship, but it is hard because of other commitments and time away from each other. I really enjoyed this book, I also love the other band members, I thought they were funny and really good friends. I loved that Greer and Aveline's relationship didn't change when she found out he was famous. They were great for each other and really loved each other. Good one, I will be waiting for the rest of the series.

    Loved it!!!

This is book one in the Rusted & Reckless series and it features Greer and Aveline. This story line was brilliant! I love how they met online as students. Their awkwardness upon their first meeting was cute. I imagine being with a rock star would be very difficult. Ava and Greer experience their fair share of difficulties throughout this book. When disaster strikes a couple of times, Ava had a very difficult time dealing with it all. The whole situation with Jamie was written extremely well and was a perfect addition to this already awesome story line. I’m definitely interested in reading the next book in this series and more from this very talented author.

    Loved It

Greer is the bass player for country/rock band Rusted and Reckless who has been earning online degrees as pretty much a hobby for him. With his online courses he has come to be acquainted with Aveline who happens to be in a couple of his classes. They have struck up quite the friendship over time and is known as “University Girl” to his bandmates. Aveline and her mother were in a car accident and now she has been working two jobs, taking online courses and caring for her mother who is in a vegetative state since the accident. Since Greer and Aveline have been in daily contact there is a growing connection and she will be in for one huge surprise since she just informed him that she is going to see one of her favorite bands, Rusted and Reckless. She has no clue that Greer is the bass player in the band. His bandmates ask the crowd that night if there is someone who goes by “University Girl” in the audience and to please come up backstage for the remainder of the show. Greer and Aveline have had an online connection for quite some time but will they still have that connection once they meet in person?

I did enjoy the book up to a point. Love Greer but Aveline frustrated me to no end. She just flip flopped a lot. I get she has a lot responsibilities but she keeps running every time it gets hard and then expect Greer to fight for her. She was just a hot mess.

    Very enjoyable

This was a very enjoyable book. I really enjoyed the development of the relationship between Aveline and Greer, and the rest of the Rusted and Reckless band was great. There was plenty of romance, great dialogue and a beautiful love story.
