    Change for the better

Change isn't easy but sometimes it's necessary. Michael needs a change to help his recovery from a brain injury suffered in combat. With his support dog Kaylee he's moved to the family summer home for some peace and quiet while he adjusts to civilian life and dealing with people again. Josh is a local boy who runs a local bagel shop with his father. Josh's life changes the moment Michael walks through the door of the shop. Michael's father is the governor and in the middle of an election campaign where a wounded warrior would help to boost his campaign. Michael's PTSD makes him unwilling to be part of anything that involves large groups and stressful situations, something his father doesn't understand. Josh and Michael are drawn together and soon find themselves very much involved with each other, something else Michael's father doesn't understand, but which spurs another change for the couple. This was an excellent read and I very much look forward to reading the next in the series.

    Nice book with sweet characters

I loved this book, a very sweet dog and two very sweet humans. The characters are interesting and the plot is not overtly complex yet entertaining.
