  • Wholesome Read

This is a wonderful read. Our main character Em gets her heart broke and has decided there are other things in life. She helps her grandmother run her flower business and wants to open a business of her own one day. A week away to clear her mind , may just change it. A good wholesome read. I just flipped right through this one.

  • Heart warming romance

I loved reading Change of Heart by Judith Keim. Em, Devin, Ava, Gran seemed like part of my extended family. This well written romance is a heart warming, fun, family oriented story that kept me reading until I reached the end.

  • Love and Redemption

In Judith Keim's Change of Heart, Emerson Jordan is nursing a broken heart and decides to skip Valentines Day and heads to the Gulf coast of Florida. At the last minute, her friend decides not to make the trip with her. Devin Gerard is coming off a bad break up and he decides to spend his Valentines Day in Florida and they share the Seashell cottage. Thus begins a friendship that becomes much more. This is an enjoyable read and would make a great beach/summer read

  • A friends to lover romance.

Emerson, Em, has always wanted a Valentine wedding but her hopes were dashed when she was dumped. Her dreams of being in New York and doing landscaping design are still intact though. She decides to spend some time in Florida with a family friend. Devin is concentrating on his paediatric practice and sees Em as just a family friend. That is until the fates have something else in mind. What a truly wonderful contemporary romance filled with love of family and fulfilling your dreams. The characters are amazing, well defined, personable and interesting. You become invested in their lives and hope they get what they want. This is an emotional rollercoaster as the characters deal with their losses, fears, desires and life’s challenges. The storyline is easy to read and full of delightful surprises as the characters grow and learn what makes them and those around them happy. This is a well written contemporary love story worth reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • series but can stand alone, excellent

A HEA (Happy Ever After). Emerson Jordan, "Em" has been dreaming of a Valentine's Day wedding her entire life. After a break-up, moving back to her hometown of Ellentown from NYC has 31 year old Emerson determined to make a success of her plans to own a landscaping design company. The close-knit Jordan family support each other. When Em shares Seashell Cottage with an equally determined and focused doctor, neither will consider attraction they feel for each other. Friendship grows as Em & Devin talk & text their daily lives. A stead plot and a well-written story. This feels like a second book in a series though it stands alone perfectly. I am going to look into reading previous stories in this series and add it to my'following' list. Thanks to Wild Quail Publishing (through Book Buzz on Net Galley) for allowing me access to an ARC.
