    Austin is a sexy surprise!

I loved it! This story is a sweet, sexy, nerdy romance. Austin and Marley are great together. Austin might be an introvert but he is one steamy, sexy one! I think the moral of the story is lies, even by omission, can ruin your life. Secondary characters are fantastic and really add that humorous aspect to this romance. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

    Hot, hot, hot!

Hot, hot, hot - if you are looking for a steamy read, this is it! Austin is a hot nerd who is a bit awkward socially, but he knows how to take control in the bedroom, closet and just about anywhere else he is with Marley. The video game role play throughout the story made it different for me and I really enjoyed it. Although the Austin and Marley generate lots of heat, I didn't feel the love between them. I loved Marly's brother Chad and I hope he gets his own story soon! ARC via NetGalley

    Game On

Marley Lake and Austin Rivers are co-workers, sort of. Marley knows him as the sometimes IT guy who helps her out. Austin is seriously attracted to her and they share a private moment that changes everything. Marley is up for a promotion and works very hard. Austin is actually part owner in the company she works for. He is thinking of selling, so does he really need to tell her? They both have been hurt in the past. Austin is afraid to trust again. Everyone has let him down. Except his crazy and quirky partner and best friend. He is scared that if he shared too much with her she would leave him or hurt him. Marley, on the other hand, is not sure if she wants more than one night. The chemistry between them is off the charts. They make each other laugh. They have a lot in common. She is just really afraid that she could lose all that she has worked for if she gives in. Prepare to laugh. There are some seriously crack me up moments in this book. I enjoyed every minute! The characters are fun and complex. ***This ARC copy was given to me free from and the publisher, for review purposes. My hones opinion is my own and does not reflect Netgalley, nor its affiliates.

One of my favourite reads of 2015!

This sexy and fun romance is the story of Marley and Austin. As if getting caught with a dirty GIF on her work computer by the new IT guy isn't bad enough, the fact that he's hot and Marley can picture them together in a pose just like it would be truly embarrassing - if it wasn't obvious that he seems just as interested in the picture, and her. A hot and intense fling with a work colleague whom she hardly ever sees on the job is totally justifiable, right? Only Austin's got a few secrets up his sleeve that he knows he should share with Marley sooner rather than later. The connection they are building is one he isn't prepared to end and he fears it'll be game over when she finds out what he's been hiding. Will he be able to convince her otherwise when the truth is revealed? Wow! This story just pushed all my buttons, in the best of ways. I loved Marley's character as a fun, friendly, confident woman who secretly dreams of more adventure in the bedroom than she's been getting. She's worked hard to get to her position as editor of a gaming magazine and is in line for a promotion, one she fully deserves. She's well liked and respected around her office and though she's attracted to Austin from their first meeting, she tries (not always successfully) to keep their relationship away from the office. Austin is exactly my kind of hero - what I like to call a beta/alpha. In public he's reclusive and somewhat reserved, with only a few close friends who know what goes on his life. He's a bit awkward which makes him rather endearing, with an internal monologue that can be laugh out loud funny. But in private - whoa, the alpha comes out and he is a man in charge! Put him together with Marley who wants to let go of the control she has over all the other aspects of her life and they are a perfect fit. The sexual chemistry they share is undeniable and leads to some intense and really sexy scenes. When they start to forge a deeper connection and open up to each other, it just makes the sex between them even better. Along with the sexually charged romance, the secondary characters added some great scenes to the story. Marley's relationship with her brother Chad was very amusing and the openness in their discussions, particularly in regards to sex made for some very witty banter. Austin's relationship with his friend and business partner Grant was one of real depth and affection. Grant wasn't afraid to be blunt with Austin and give him the kick he needed to start looking at what he wanted for his future. I'm hoping we'll see more of him in a future story. I also really appreciated the 'geek' qualities of the story - references to social media, video game play and the like really make it very timely. If you've ever opened up tumblr, pinterest, facebook or the like on a work computer and wished you hadn't when that NSFW picture popped up (and you know who you are!) you will get a real kick out of this one. Overall, this was a fantastic read for me, one of my favourites of the year to date and will definitely be on my top ten list for 2015. 5 stars!
