  • Great read

This is an updated reissue of a previously published book. It's a great fun story and one you should read if you missed it previously. Marc may be the youngest of the Chase Brothers but he's the one with the biggest reputation as a player. Marc makes no apologies. He's young and free and plans on staying that way for a long time. That is until one kiss with Liv Davis changes everything. Now he has to make her see that not only does the six year age difference mean nothing but he's ready to change his ways. Is he up to the challenge and ready to put in the work it's going to take? I highly recommend this one.

  • 5 Star Chase

I just had a stimulating and wonderful visit to Petal, Georgia where I met the strong and captivating characters, Marc and Liv where they easily drew me into their rocky and heartfelt romance. Marc and Liv’s relationship is certainly not typical because Liv has just about given up on a happily ever after and because of her emotional issues keeps sabotaging the relationship that Marc is trying to build between them. The fast to steady paced romance keeps things gripping throughout because the relationship is a bit of a roller coaster ride of on and off again or ups and downs. Because these characters are well developed, readers can easily connect with them and relate to both sides of their story but let me tell you, that there certainly no problem between the sheets of the hot and steamy sexual relationship because their attraction has lots of electrically charged sparks flying from the pages and blazing hot passion to keep things heated. Oh and there are a couple of relationship twists that adds surprise and depth to the story as well as adding a bit of uniqueness to the romance. Every visit to Petal, Georgia so far has been a wonderful experience and I have really enjoyed getting to know the hot and sexy Chase Brothers so it was no surprise that I enjoyed Marc and Liv’s story. Anyway, I am definitely looking forward to reading Matt’s story, because I really want to know what kind of woman manages to take this brother off the market.

This is the first book that I read from the series and I must say I was not impressed. Marc and Olivia know each other for years and one day Marc starts feeling a strong attraction toward her. At first, denaying it but after sharing hot kiss he becomes determined to have here. Olivia wants husband and family but she had bad luck in finding the one. When Marc starts to show interest in dating her she doesn't believe him because of his reputation. Marc and she came to an agreement and they start seeing each other but Marc ex-ruins everything. I didn't connect with the characters. Although strong was Live full of insecurities. The plot was for me also so-so, especially arrangement toward the end of the book. It is not all about the sex an I had a feeling that there was too many of it like to fill the void. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly.

  • 4.5-Stars for re-release of Lauren Dane's Chased

Chased is a friends to lover full length romance that is re-release published by Carina Press. This is book 3 of the Chase Brother series but I read it as a standalone and didnt feel as if I missed anything by not previously reading book 1 or 2 of the series. However, after reading Chased, I can definitely say I will be purchasing and reading Giving Chase and Taking Chase. Chased was so much more than I was expecting, Lauren Dane, has a way of drawing you into the story and I didn't want this one to end. Liv had previously dated Matt Chase and while she was friends with Marc Chase she hesitated to try for anything more. Liv was older than Marc, but I didnt understand why this fact was such a big part of the stories, Liv and Marc has a sizzling connections, including many conversations with magnificently crafted witty banter, and hot & steamy between the sheet session that are Kindle-melting and swoon-worthy! I want to stress the Chased is definitely a book worthy of one-clicking and one you dont want to miss in your Kindle library! My final thoughts on Chased by Lauren Dane; Loved it, amazing & engaging storyline, definitely recommend! I am voluntarily leaving this voluntary review, but for full disclosure I did receive an review copy, ARC, of this book from the publisher via NetGalley.
