    Excellent book!

The story is a great new take on and old classic. While Alice still means a great deal to Wonderland she's no longer the focus. The focus is shifted to a modern day girl named Kat who, originally, just wants to catch the rabbit destroying her garden. This wonderland is dark and scary but at the same time thrilling and exciting where everything is the same as the classic, but nothing is at the same time. I've always been a fan of Wonderland stories and this is, by far, the best I've ever read!

Chasing Rabbits, not your childhood Fairy tale, so

OMG what can I say about this book!!!! What's not to love about it, gives a whole new spin to "Alice" and "Wonderland". Erin Bedford truly knows how to make you feel like you are a part of the story,as well as to make this Fairy tale more adult and come to life. Kat is so down to earth, sassy, independent, funny, and speaks her mind. The Dark Prince is such a sexy moody jerk, who you grow to love and understand. Cheshire S. Cat is another sexy character with his mysterious ways, use of words, and tail! You will have to read to find out about the tail and you will be wanting him for your own. Mop and Trip our unlikely little heroes who help Kat, are hard not to love. One is moody, the other a goof ball. I'm counting down to the next book in this series, adult Fairy tales rock!!!

    Imaginative

I quite enjoyed reading this new the on the Wonderland universe. It was really well written, had great characters and engaging dialogue. There were a few parts I felt could have been written a bit differently but on the whole it was fantastic! The addition of a subtle Doctor Who reference was a delight!

    Great

Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourite tales and quite frankly, I couldn’t imagine how it could successfully be retold - the original is too edgy, too weird and unique. So I went in assuming that I would be disappointed. Boy was I wrong. This grown up, modern version is very similar and very different to the original - it’s just as plain crazy, in the way that make you wonder what the author was smoking when she wrote it, and somehow, it still works: it made me smile, grimace and think “what the hell?” Bottom line is, you won’t read anything like it before or after - it maintains the essence and the craziness of Alice in Wonderland.

    Wonderfully Done

I love how the author changed a classic around and gave it new life. Kat gets in and out of trouble just as Alice did. This book has a more adult flavor to it than the original. the Cheshire Cat was always my personal favorite character, and I still love him here, a lot! Kat starts out as an insecure librarian. As she makes her way through Wonderland, meeting new and troubling people, learning to cope and succeed, or not, you see that she changes and evolves. Erin Bedford has such a fantastic imagination and it came out in a wonderfully well-written story with personable characters and twists to the story that really intrigues. Wonderful writing and I can't wait to read more.
