Definitely not what I envisioned...which is a good

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was just what I needed to read at the time, easy, laid-back type of read, something to curl up with in front of the fire or read a page or two before falling off to sleep. Very easy to put aside and come back to and remember what was previously read. I loved the author's style of writing. There was nothing I disliked about this book except the end.. Fantastic Read!!

    Enjoyable

Another enjoyable read happening at the almost magical Joy's Acre! A comfortable story with all the familiar characters with the addition of Ruby and her family. The story was predictable but an easy and enjoyable read.

A Lovely Story of Family and Friendship

Another good addition to this enjoyable series! When Ruby arrives at Joy's Acre with her two children it's fairly clear that she doesn't want to talk about her past. It doesn't take long for the magic of this place and the people involved there to make her feel right at home. Her son, however, doesn't settle in quite so easily... Life is as busy as ever in the country - if not busier. It's a pleasure to be re-acquainted with those who live and work there, as well as the addition of a few new characters. This series emphasises the importance of friends and how good ones easily expand their circle to include others - the more, the merrier. Winter brings new challenges to Joy's Acre and together the team manage to surpass most of them .. but will the final obstacles turn out to be insurmountable? There's only one way to find out .. read it! This series has come a long way from the first book; Joy's Acre has grown to accommodate many new arrivals, most of whom quickly become ingrained there. This is a lovely read and it's been really nice to catch up and find out how all the various plans are working out. My thanks to Bookouture for providing my copy via NetGalley. This is my honest, original and unbiased review.
