    Short and sweet

These were three shortish and sweet novellas written in the same style of Cheryl Bolen's other historical romances. 'Christmas Wish', 'Home for Christmas' and 'Christmas at Farley Manor' all tell of three young ladies who fall in love with three different young men and this happens under different circumstances for each couple just prior to the Christmas period. All in all, they are very easy to read and most enjoyable and with Christmas around the corner, the right kind of read for now. Enjoy!

Christmas Brides - Three Regency Novellas

"Christmas Brides" Overall Actually, I really enjoyed each of the three stories in this collection. Christmas at Farley manor was my favorite I think. All three stories had delightfully developed characters and were filled with sweet romance. This was my first experience in listening to the narrator, Rosalind Ashford. She has a lovely voice and pleasant pronunciation of the language of the time. The only think I had difficulty getting use to was the cadence of her inflection. I know you is extremely talented, but it just felt rather monotone in my opinion. I will say that by the 3rd story, it didn't bother me as much as the first two, perhaps it is just a matter of what you are use to. I'd still tell my friends to definitely read the books, and listen to the sample audio version. As I said, she has a lovely voice and obvious talent in her enunciation of languages. I personally just had to get use to her cadence. Others may not find that to be the case. These novellas are well worth checking out. 😀
