  • Unexpected and Sweet

An impromptu invite for a simple Christmas dinner turns into an unexpected revelation for both Delilah and Griffin. Although Delilah Johnson is determined to finally pursue her own business venture, it’s Griffin Kelso, her old boss, who wants to propose a new business partnership with her in mind. But Delilah is done with his high maintenance attitude and she won’t be swayed. It’s when she learns Griffin is spending Christmas solo that she invites him over. Throughout the evening, both Delilah and Griffin learn more about each other, and the attraction is undeniable. Just as things get heated it soon cut short and I’m going to have to wait for what develops for these two. Kris Jayne gives us a well-written, sweet Christmas novella. One that is sure to whet your appetite for the upcoming Holiday Season. I hope to read a conclusion for Griffin and Delilah’s budding romance.

  • Loved it

This is my first book by this author and it wont be my last. Delilah is spending Christmas by herself because her daughter is spending it with her boyfriend and his family. Delilah gets a call from her ex-boss who wants to talk to her about a job. She tells him No that he was too high maintenance and exhausting. He talked her into coming to talk to him. Somehow while talking to him at his home they start talking about Christmas and she finds out that he doesn't like Christmas and he will be spending it alone so she invites him to spend it with her. To find out what happens next we will just have to wait for the next book. I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.

    Thanks for your feedback!
