    Amazing

This is a wonderful touch of Christmas in July. If you are as crazy for those Hallmark Holiday movies as I am, you are going to love this book! The town of Evergreen, VT takes Christmas very seriously. Allie Shaw grew up in Evergreen and she is going to miss the crazy little town but it's time for her to make the move to DC to give her relationship a real chance. Isn't it?? After losing his wife a year ago Ryan Bellamy is determined to make this Christmas special for his little girl Zoe and he's certain that a trip to Florida is the way to do that. Zoe has different ideas. When a side trip to Evergreen on their way to the airport turns into a several days stay and if Zoe gets her wish they will never leave! Put this on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

    Love that Christmas magic!

A sweet love story that makes you believe in the magic of Christmas! I wasn’t too sure when I started this book since it is based on a Hallmark Holiday movie, one which I did see when it aired last year, but knowing that Nancy Naigle was authoring this book I knew there was a good chance that the book was once again going to be better than the movie…and Nancy Naigle delivered a sweet holiday romance that, while following the movie, was such a wonderful read and, dare I say, not quite as cheesy as the movie itself. The characters were real, the plot was rich enough to keep me engaged, and as I expected, the writing was truly wonderful. The quirky town of Evergreen, with its tradition steeped in Christmas and its townspeople as colorful as any small town, was a wonderful backdrop to not only a love story, but also to some wonderful small-town community interactions and fun. There was just enough Christmas magic sprinkled in - by way of a magic snow globe and a Santa who’s name just happened to be Nick – to make you believe. If you love Hallmark Holiday movies or just need a nice, sweet romance that will leave you smiling, this is the perfect book to help you celebrate Christmas in July – or any time of year! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book I received from NetGalley.

    I was completely enchanted

This isn’t the time of year when I normally indulge in Christmas stories, but this was so irresistible that it wouldn’t have mattered when I read it. Like Allie, I grew up with a love of everything holiday. The baking. The decorating. The sense of family and community when everyone gets together to celebrate. And like Ryan, the losses of important people in my life have taken the shine off the holiday season. This book took me back to a time when I was completely enchanted with the magic of Christmas. When everything is possible, and wishes can come true. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

    Heartwarming Christmas Romance

What an outstanding way to get into the spirit of Christmas. Ryan, Allie and Zoe made my day and have me wanting to put up the Christmas tree. Since i'ts not even fall my husband may not be happy about that, but this book brought so much joy and was like sitting in the house on a winter day and watching a feel good Christmas movie. Amazing story that I'll be reading again and again. I loved Evergreen.

    Absolutely perfect Christmas story

This was a really lovely and very, very Christmas-feeling book, very sweet and gentle with great characters. I can definitely understand why it's also a Hallmark movie, even though I haven't watched it, but I definitely plan on remedying that this year! Allie is the town vet, well she was as she is just moving to Washington to be with her boyfriend, high-flying Spencer, who she has been having a long-distance relationship with. She feels she should make the effort to broaden her horizons and has a new job in DC, even though she owned and ran her own vet practice in Evergreen. Ryan and his daughter Zoe are on their way to Florida for Christmas. Ryan's wife died just before Christmas last year and so Christmas was understandably very sad and he wants to make sure it's really happy for his daughter this year. He feels that getting away from the cold and snow to Florida is completely different and the best thing, even though Zoe's not so sure. Allie bumps into Ryan and Zoe whilst still in Evergreen, as they stopped on their way to the airport and 'helped' to start her truck, then bumped into them again at the airport when they were all leaving Evergreen. But through a variety of mishaps - bad weather, cancelled flights and rock-slides - they all end up back in Evergreen for Christmas and help with the yearly Christmas Festival. During all this Allie starts having second thoughts about leaving her beloved Evergreen, and Ryan and Zoe eventually fall in love with Evergreen and don't want to leave either. This is just such a warm fuzzy feeling Christmas story, with lovely characters, lots of snow, a magic snow globe and... is that Santa himself wandering around Evergreen?! I don't normally re-read books, but this is one I think is just perfect to re-read every year to get you in the Christmas spirit. Just lovely.
