    Delightful

This last visit to Icicle Falls is a wonderfully delightful way to wrap up the series. This is definitely one series I am going to miss especially during the holiday season. This story is packed full of all kind of emotions. It made me laugh, cry, sad, and happy. As with most of the books there are several stories going on at once while having a common thread. In this one the thread is The Ugly Tree! What was suppose to be a spectacular new artificial tree turns out the be much less than that. Seems like the whole town gets in on the project to turn The Ugly Tree into a thing of beauty. During the process the true meaning of the season definitely takes hold and makes for one beautiful Christmas for everyone. Put this one on the must read list for this holiday season. It's easily read standalone and you don't want to miss it.

    Ugly Tree Project

Loved the story! Sheila Roberts has done a great job writing about the citizens of a little German-type tourist town in the foothills of the Pacific Northwest. This book involves new and old characters that learn the value of an ugly tree project to find love, happiness, and peace. I loved this series and Sheila has done it again! Can't wait for her new series!

    Get in the holiday spirit!

I've taken many trips to the fantasy town of Icicle Falls over the past several years and this last trip was not a disappointment in the least! As sad as I am to see it end this was a great conclusion. I met new friends and visited old friends while on this last visit. Muriel Sterling is a long time resident and celebrity in that she has written and had several books published. Her newest, A Guide to Happy Holidays, is her best work yet. She's on top of the world until she opens her newly delivered fake Christmas tree. It's a pitiful sight and terribly distressing to Muriel. She is having guests in a few days and her Ugly Tree will be the talk of the town, after all she takes great pride in her holiday decorating skills. Sienna Moreno and her young son are new residents in Icicle Falls. She wanted a fresh start in a new location and she does have a cousin living here. Her fly in the ointment is her crotchety next door neighbor. Olivia Claussen is also an old time friend with a new daughter-in-law. Why did her son ever marry this uncouth, obnoxious woman? She wonders how in the world she will ever make it through the Christmas season. Seems like several residents need an attitude adjustment and the "Ugly Tree Project" sounds like just the ticket to do that. I'm never disappointed in anything I read by Sheila Roberts. She takes me to a happy place full of fun, laughter and some very good life lessons when I'm holding one of her books in my hand. This book will get you in the spirit of the season and take you on a final trip to Icicle Falls. copy of this book from the author/publisher and w required to write a review positive or otherwise.

    A Heart Warming Christmas Story

Once again Sheila Roberts has written a heart warming Christmas story. The "ugly Christmas tree", that Muriel had ordered on line. Now the town will come together to beautify it. The true meaning of it, everything and everyone has potential. True to her story telling, there a few different stories over lapping in the book. Plenty of emotions that will keep you turning the pages. Very sad to say good by to Icicle Falls, I feel like they are my friends from this town. I laughed and cried with so many. Looking forward to her new series and new friends. I highly recommend this book during this holiday season.
