    I strongly recommend it

An emotional, poignant, and heartwarming read that made me wish it was Christmas. I liked the storytelling, it's really well written, the fleshed out cast of characters and the lovely setting. It's an engrossing and enjoyable read that I strongly recommend. Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

    Gentle and cosy

This was another lovely return to Burley Bridge, this time following Lucy who has happy childhood memories of the village and on finding the cottage of her long held dreams for sale there embarks on a new life and business with her family. I thought this was told over a good time frame and Lucy’s emotions were well expressed, both she and James were genuinely nice characters and the gentle storyline worked well. It was great to catch up with previous characters from the series, it’s the kind of location you’d love to live at! Overall this was a very pleasant read, it ended slightly abruptly for me but otherwise it provided a very cosy read.

    Full of Magic

Oh my goodness, when I started this novel, I wasn't entirely sure where it was headed. It was at turns heartbreaking, heartwarming, and full of holiday magic. It's a delightfully beautiful and charming tale of resilience and healing - chasing dreams and finding love. Moments of humour lighten what could otherwise be a melancholy tale, but the characters are well-illustrated and reading this book will engage you emotionally while leaving you to feel like you've been wrapped in a warm, cozy blanket. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this title via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
