    A decent start

Before I get to the story itself, I have to commend whoever designed the attractive cover for this book - it was as appealing as the book's description in terms of my wanting to read it. I liked the premise to the story & the characters. The story structure works but it does take a while to get going. I really enjoy series built around a group of siblings or friends, but much as I'm interested in reading theirs, it felt like it was spending time at the beginning setting up for Mona & Kayla's stories while I was wanting it to get on with Sarina's. The details of the friends' characters & backgrounds would have worked better being given mostly in snippets as the main story progressed The development of the story and especially the relationship between Sarina & Drake didn't feel natural. Basically, it's a decent story but on the cheesy side. I did enjoy the sweet ending, and my interest is sufficiently piqued to want to read Kayla's story next. Clean romance level: sweet kisses Religion: One or two mentions of God, but nothing that any except the most anti-theist would get in a swivet over

A Great Start to a New Series

A great start to a new series, Sabrina has inherited a B&B wedding venue, that is rundown. Now the likely decision is to sell but her heart tells her otherwise. Sabrina soon finds family secrets that might help save the B&B. Drake has arrived to make a deal on the buying the B&B but he will need to sweet talk Sabrina into the sale but soon he finds himself falling for Sabrina and helps her in saving the B&B. This is a sweet romance of listening to your heart and following your dreams. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

    Sweet Romance

Lenora Worth always delivers a sweet emotional story where the main character is at a crossroads in his/her life. In Closing the Deal, Sarina Gabriel is at such a junction having inherited a home that she is not sure what to do with; keep it or sell it. As she finds out more about the older home along with the town she finds out more about her family and herself. Drake Dunmore would tell you at the beginning that he knows exactly where his live is headed and he is pleased to be on that path. Well, perhaps not so satisfying as he might have once thought. Things begin to change for him once he meets Sarina. The memory of a lovely older lady and a small town community round out this cute contemporary romance. An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Great Start for a new series

The Brides of Blossom Texas series is a new series that looks to be a fun and interesting one based in my great state. It starts off with a a wedding venue that is falling around literally at the seams and floorboards. Sarina inherits it from her grandma who in spite of loving & raising her has kept her in the dark about a great number of things since she left town to go to college and work in the big city of Dallas. Now she has come home, she thought to help her sick Nana only to bury her and decide what to do with the old Victorian B/B. We get to meet so many characters that will be showcased in future books I am sure and yes we even saw a peek of a few old familiar faces ie: the Castles. I love books based in my home state and enjoy reading then and thinking that could be based around places I have traveled or seen before. Sarina and Drake's story for me was a great intro to this series and I can't wait for the next book in this series.
