  • Quite A Cliffhanger!

First things first. This ends in a cliffhanger. Now that you know you will need to read the next book, let me tell you....This book was fun! I loved Penny, who came off as being klutzy. She had some things to overcome. It was interesting that her family did seem to support her in pursuing what she loved or in being a Royal Guard. That caused Sebastian and Penny to have a lot in common. I didn't like her ex, Robert, or her brother Michael. The story was fun, funny, and yet had a sense of intrigue and mystery. The way the book ended was jaw dropping. Looking forward to the next installment. I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advance Reader Copy.

  • Royally Fantastic Read!!!

Let me start off by saying I'm in love with this new series Royal Undercover. This is the story of Prince Sebastian and Penny. As children they played together even though she was not a Royal. After the incident where his cousin locked Penny up and scared her as a child. Sebastian vowed to protect her from his cousin. Now it has been years and they haven't seen each in a long time. The Prince is angry with the King and has disappeared after finding out a family secret. Penny is a Royal Guard now and the King has asked her to protect the Prince because he fears for his life. Sebastian should be called the sneaky Prince because he has been missing for six months. But he turns up in New York where he enlist the help of Blake Security. Love how Nana Malone incorporated my favorite guys in the story. Sebastian is looking for his brother he never knew he had and also a long lost sister. After meeting up with Noah, he notifies the King of the Prince's whereabouts and the King sends Penny and her best friend Ariel in undercover to bring the Prince home. Even though Penny doesn't feel that she is a good Royal Guard, she is smart and very determined. Her instincts are awesome. She will do whatever it takes the protect Sebastian even if it means getting very close to him and her attraction for him. Once Sebastian meets Penny again, he feels a connection, she feels like home. The more he's with her the stronger the pull. I love watching them fall in love and when they could no longer deny what they felt it was just wow. (Boom). There is some surprises in store and a very emotional ending that left me wanting more. Cliffhanger, I wish the next book was out now. Love this new series looking forward to seeing what Nana Malone comes up with next. This series needs to extend to the cousins too.

  • Suspense, secrets, and sexy

Another engaging read from Nana Malone. Cheeky Royal is a terrific mix of light-hearted fun, a bit of suspense, and loads of secrets. Sebastian and Penny have great chemistry even when they're determined that nothing will happen between them. Of course, it doesn't take a genius to know that something will most certainly happen and when it does, it is nothing short of scorching hot. This is just the beginning of the story for Penny and Sebastian, so be warned, there is a cliffy and is jaw dropping. I can't wait to see where it all goes from here.

  • Cheeky Royal

Sebastian and Penny are no longer playmates. It's been many years. Now he's the next in line to be king and she's in the Royal Guard. They just don't see each other...until... On assignment, Penny meets her old friend who doesn't remember or at least recognize her. To him, she's his arty, clumsy, adorably hot, neighbor. He's living down his rep with women. She's trying to prove her worth and get over boyfriend shock. Neither is going to go there. Problem is their bodies aren't listening. It was impossible for me not to fall for either of them alone and together. She is adorable and so much more than she appears. I love her self-defense skills. He is hot and focused on changing his life. They make great friends and the battle to stay that way is a fun ride. I enjoyed touching base with some old book friends. The emotions range from funny to sad to dangerous. Never a dull moment. I am ready and waiting for part two. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On

  • Sexy Royals. Sweet & Fun

Nana Malone has done it again. She has brought out 2 characters that you fall in love with and let them win over your heart! *Note: This is part 1 of the series, so you will be SCREAMING for more at the end! I went through so many emotions... Anger... Laughs... Protectiveness... Confusion... Sadness... And that was just within the first 2 chapters! Penny is not the ideal protector! Being part of the Royal Guard, everyone expected her to act a certain way... Be a certain way! But she truly was her own person and that led her to the task of guarding the "Runaway Prince!" Sebastian had plans for his life and didn't want to do what everyone expected of him. But the person he had become was not what those in his world would expect of him. These two build on the little that they know and make it a great read. You enjoy the chemistry and the connection between the characters. And did I mention that the men of Blake Security make an appearance! If you haven't read the Shameless series, you definitely are missing out (but it is not necessary to read them before Royals Undercover Series) This is another winner in my book & I cannot wait until the conclusion!
