    Kayla's Fire

I really liked the first book but this one not so much. First of all, the part where her husband was allowed back in the Canadian military after serving a 10 year sentence for attempted murder was just not believable. This would not have happened. My father, two uncle's, brother in law, husband, two sons, and now my grandson have served in the Canadian military. I can state that Daniel would not have been welcome back into the military after an attempted murder conviction and especially not if it was the result of PTSD. He would have been eligible for benefits from the Dept of Veteran's Affairs but never returned to active duty. Also, after surviving the attempted murder, Kayla would not have been returned to active duty without a Psych Evaluation and mandatory therapy. There is no way she would have worked 10 years in the Can. Military and avoided psychiatric intervention. Couldn't happen. The constant belief/betrayal that the rwo main characters felt went on for so long that it began to feel as though it was done to manipulate the reader's emotions and by the end of the story, I had lost respect for and interest in both Kayla and Thane. Their characters did not ring true. I have worked as a therapist with Native girl's who have been horribly abused and molested and the one thing I have never seen is for them to offer to give away their child. Having a child is what gives them value (it's a cultural thing....their raison d'etre). The Blood Shark story kept my interest.

    Wonderful

As of this writing, I have read the first two books in the series, they are wonderful reads. This series is different from the other series I have read surronding the different branches of our nations military. I love Ghost and Snow Whites story, even with all of their struggles and can`t wait to read the stories of the rest of the teams...Hooyah! I also like that the author included links to sites that you can go to to help our service men and women.

    Wow!!!

    Amazing read

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. After reading Code Name: Ghost I waited eagerly and maybe a little impatiently for the second & last part to Snow White & Ghosts story. The waiting was certainly worth the wait. I started reading this book this morning & only moved off the sofa to make coffee until I had finished!! Let me say I loved reading Code Name: Ghost. I had a big book hangover after reading it. The story of Ghost & Kayla has stuck with me since reading it. But what a cliffhanger it ended with. That nearly killed me. I kept thinkin how could an author be so cruel to leave the reader hanging like that. However I'm seeing method in her madness... After ending like that of course your gonna want to read the second book. Also an ending like that ain't gonna be forgotten in a hurry! Now onto this book Kayla's fire. Oh my dayz what a story. Firstly I didn't want to start it as I was afraid of what the author was going to throw at me. I was right to be afraid. This had me wanting to throw my kindle on several occasions and had me shouting at my kindle. I wanted to rant at the author for putting me through turmoil..... These two books are gonna stay with me for a long time. Although there will be more to the series this doesn't end in a cliffhanger. I recommend you gift these two books as Christmas presents... You will be loved forever.

I could not put their story down

This is part two of Thane and Kayla's journey, an angst ridden, and painful journey of discovery and a fight to believe in each other and love - all the while trying to avoid the clutches of a serial killer. The interactions between the characters and their military family also highlight the toll that those in service for our country and the freedoms experience. If you started book 1 and are starting to lose hope for these two, Don't Give Up. I couldn't put this one down
