How do you write a review of a superb book, one that you like, with a great premise, wonderful themes, awesome plot, thrilling romance and not mention what you like about it? — because that would give away the entire story. Jim saves lives. Everywhere. Even in Europe. He gets to a site where someone is supposed to die and prevents it. How does he do it? How does he know? Someone or something helps him, but what? Or Who? Yes, there is a reasonable, logical explanation, and you have to read the book to find it. This is one of Dean Koontz’ best books. No dog, but lots of birds.

  • Coldfire

Loved this book! The adventure starts from the first `Lifeline` that sends the main character out on his rescue missions, and the excitement doesn't stop. Why does he do what he does and how does he know what he knows? Like all Koontz books this was well written with a touch of humour.
